Autumn/Winter Lip Picks

Hi everyone,
Today's post, I am going to be sharing with you my lip picks for this time of season.

Swatches left to right:

Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick in Iced Caramel : Super pigmented, glossy and long lasting dark brown/nude shade. I like this for daily use. Even though it is a brown in does have a blush pink tone to it.

Revlon Matte Balm in Elusive : This is my most recent lip purchase and I love it. It is a mid-pink shade that is very pigmented but I apply a lip balm first which sheers out the colour. It is so amazing and does not dry out my lips even though it is matte.

Rimmel Rita Ora Colour Rush in Not an Illusion : A lip product like this could be used for almost anything. It applies like a lip balm but adds colour like a lipstick and the gloss of a lip gloss. This is a dark red/nude shade which is great for this time of year.

Freedom Pro Lipstick in Adorn : This is the darkest shade I have included as I am not a dark lipstick person but if I was feeling risky, this is the lipstick I would wear. It is just a dark, berry, purple with glittery undertones. I love this lipstick, they are super affordable and are really comparable to MUA lipsticks.

MUA LUXE Lip Lacquer in Tranquility : A velvet teddy dupe is the way I would describe this. They are very similar but are opposite in price. I do think that this is a bit darker than velvet teddy but still very similar. MUA do honestly make great formulations of lip lacquers. This is my favorite shade and I love it. It lasts a long time, super pigmented and not drying. It does take that little bit longer to apply but I don't mind that.

Oriflame Gloss Booster in Sugar Glaze : You can't really see the swatch of it as it is a clear gloss but it could add so much to a dull lip colour. This is one of my all time favorite lip glosses and It is a definite essential for the winter.

I hope you enjoyed this post. Comment your must have lip product this winter. Have a great day!

    1. I think it would look great on all skin tones, and even if it doesn't work, it won't break the bank!

  2. oh my goodness, Iced Caramel looks like the perfect nude for this autumn. I'm in love! Those swatches are divine and I'm totally in love with tranquility, it does look like quite a good dupe for velvet teddy without breaking the bank which is always a bonus in the blogging world! Great post! xx
