Spring Blushing!

With spring just around the corner, I am currently switching up some of my makeup products, especially blushers so I am going to share some of them with you.
Going to start off with a cream blush I love to pull out at this time of year. The Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Pink Frosting is beautiful for spring, it is a dark, hot pink shade which gives your skin the most natural and amazing flush. With it being cream, it tends to last a little longer and be a little easier to build up, so this product is super easy to use.
I love wearing peach/ orange blush, I feel like it suits my skin tone nicely and gives me a natural blush that isn't too pink. The Makeup Revolution Blush in Treat  is beautiful because it has a little bit of shimmery but nothing overwhelming and it applies really evenly. It is very pigmented so go a little light when trying to pick up the product unless you want it to look really heavy. This is also only £1 so if this isn't your shade maybe look for another colour because they are so affordable.
I am sort of cheating because I am including a whole palette but the two blushes it includes are both lovely. It is the Barry M Get Up and Glow Palette and it comes with two blushes as well as a few other different face powders. The first blush is another bright peach shade which is fully matte. This would look amazing with a tan and you can double up with it as an eye shadow and use it in the crease. The second shade is more of a pink, a bright coral with some shimmer included. Both are fairly pigmented, apply nicely and blend really well.
A current favourite of mine at the moment, the Mac Blush in Margin, this is a beautiful, dark peach (can you see this pattern?) with gold reflects. This looks incredible on medium skin, I don't really tend to wear it when I am pale just because it kind of matches the shade of my bronzer but I love it during spring/ summer when I am a little darker. Anyway, the formula is not my favourite, it is a little stiff and difficult to blend but it is an exception because of how gorgeous the colour is.
Another sort of cream product, but it is a little more like a stain. The Benefit Posie Tint is beautiful for spring. It is a lovely pink/coral shade and you can apply it on both your lips and cheeks so it is a great two in one product. It is very sheer, so it looks super natural on the cheeks and it gives your skin a super dewy finish which is exactly what you want during spring.

  1. The Maybelline Bouncy Blush looks like such a strange consistency! Which one is your favourite?

  2. I've never actually used a blush, but I definitely want to start to. I have two from Too Faced's palettes and they look extremely pretty! I love the look of all of these, especially the Barry M ones. do you find cream or powder to be easier? I kind of want to try a cream blush xx

    1. I think cream is easier to work with just because it is a little easier to fix if it goes wrong and a lot of powder blushes are overly pigmented so you can go over board quite easily. xx

  3. I've never used a cream blush - that Maybelline one looks so soft and squishy - I want to give it a go!
