June Favourites!

Happy July!!! As always my first blog post of the month is going to be a favourites and so I hope you enjoy.
I want to start off with a super random favourite but one I just have to briefly mention. The new Fab Birthday Cake Ice Lollies and absolutely delicious. I am pretty sure that they are limited edition so try them while you can because they taste incredible.
For music this month, there have been three new songs that I have been obsessed with all of which are just as good as the other. Would definitely recommend all of them:
Glorious - Macklemore ft. Skylar Grey
Passionfruit - Drake
Slow Hands - Niall Horan
I have quite a few makeup favourites this month, quite a lot of new discoveries and the first one is the Urban Decay Naked Concealer. This concealer has been sitting in my drawers for months but the shade was just a little too dark for me while I was super fair so after coming off holiday I had a bit of a tan. Now that the concealer could actually work for highlighting the high points of my face, it worked like a total dream. The concealer was great coverage and it didn't crease on me which is huge for me so I really love this concealer. I am desperate to get my hands on another shade of this for when I am paler and I would definitely recommend this to everyone.
To go with that concealer, I have loved applying this with the Real Techniques Mini Miracle Sponges. You get two in a pack but I have been loving them for blending out my concealer and when I get my loose powder, I will think that for baking these sponges will be great. I love that they are small because them you can get right in the inner corner which is something I couldn't do with my other sponges.
Another base product I have been loving is the L'Oreal Infallible Pressed Powder in Warm Vanilla. This is a super pale pressed powder and I have recently been using this to set my under eyes. The coverage of this powder is not too heavy but it is still super brightening on the places where I highlight. I also love that it is so finely milled so it gives my under eyes a beautiful airbrushed finished and prevents creasing. This powder also claims that it lasts 24 hours which isn't quite so hard to believe because this powder does not budge anything so it is great for those hot summer days.
Final makeup product I have to share is the Elf Brow Pencil in Taupe. I kind of bought this out on a whim just for something new to try on my brows but I have actually fallen to like it quite a lot. This is the first brow pencil I have ever tried but I really like it because it is super easy to control as there is pigment but not an overwhelming amount. The shade Taupe also matches me perfectly and the texture of the pencil is super creamy and it lasts a while.
For skincare, I have really been loving the Sephora Sheet Masks. Face masks are something I always tend to neglect in my collection but every time I reach for one it is a sheet mask from Sephora and they never fail to amaze me. They are super easy to use and they don't require you to head back and forth to and from the bathroom. I also love how they come in a range of scents and ingredients, my recent favourite has been the pomegranate mask. These masks make my skin look so healthy and moisturized once I have finished with them, and that effect lasts a few days which I think is amazing. Sadly these are difficult to get living in the UK so I might try out some different sheet masks but definitely this month I have been loving these in particular.
A hair favourite I have fallen back in love with is the Pantene Hair Oil. I have been using this religiously all month because it gives my hair the most healthy and glossy look. What I love doing with this oil is after towel drying it, I apply a few pumps of this onto my hair focusing on the ends and then leaving it to air dry. Once it has dried, my favourite thing to do is braid my hair, leave it in for a day, take it out and this gives my hair the most beautiful glossy waves. After using the oil a few times in a row my hair becomes so soft a lovely looking. I would definitely recommend this oil if you have quite dry and frizzy hair like myself as it has definitely improved the appearance of my hair.
Finally, I have a little book favourite, Looking For Alaska by John Green was definitely a favourite for this month. I started to read this while I was on holiday and I am very nearly finished because I am such a slow reader but this book has such a beautiful story line to it. It is very emotional but I think it makes you look at the bigger picture and it has a lot of important lessons in it. I also really like the style John Green wrote this in so I would definitely recommend it.
