Glosses are coming back!

I love lip glosses, so I am very happy that matte lips are dying down and that gloss is coming back. This post is basically a run-down of all of my favourite lip glosses and there is definitely a variety in formula and price point so hopefully, there is something for everyone in this post. I will also point out now that all of the colours of these glosses are basically the same and that is why I have not done swatches, most of these also have been reviewed individually so I will link those posts somewhere as I talk about each one.
I got these glosses back when I was in Germany a few years back but turns out you can actually get them from Beauty Bay so I have linked where you can buy them from. These glosses don't have enough recognition, for me, they are the perfect everyday gloss. I have done little rankings just so that you can create comparisons between each gloss but generally speaking, these glosses don't have a lot of pigment, it has a light tint to it. The finish is a very natural glossy finish but I find that this finish makes it so super comfortable, it tends to feel more link a balm than a gloss. My favourite way to wear this is on its own or with a lip liner underneath just to add some definition but the gloss does all the talking for me and so I find that it is all I really need on my lips.

This is definitely more on an intense gloss in comparison to the Artdeco one. When applying it, it is a little thicker but this means that there is a little more pigment and that the finish is much more intense. My favourite way to wear this gloss is on top of a lipstick that I want to make slightly lighter by putting this in the centre of the lips. Since this gloss has more pigment, I find that you can really use it to manipulate a lip colour underneath it and because this shade is a pale nude, it is super versatile to use.

This is the newest addition to my gloss collection and I have definitely been wearing it a lot recently. I would class this as a standard gloss, it is nothing extreme and it is perfect for daily wear. It is definitely unique in terms of its hourglass-shaped applicator, which makes it super easy to apply but the formula itself is comfortable and there is a nice tint to it. I prefer to wear this on its own because I actually love the shade of this gloss and the pigment is really even so it looks good even without anything underneath.

If you just want a basic gloss the help plump your lips a little then this is the perfect one for you. This gloss formula is so sheer but the glossy finish is so intense, it makes your lips look wet in the best way. The formula is quite thin and lightweight but it does have that tingling effect with a super strong mint scent which I actually love but I know that it is not to everyones taste. I think that this is the most universal gloss as you could wear it on its own for something more natural or on top of any coloured lipstick for something a little stronger in colour. I also think that although this is a higher end brand, the price is super reasonable and I would just highly recommend it.

This is the most comfortable gloss hands down, just everything about the formula makes it perfect for all-day wear. You instantly apply it and it feels moisturising and more like a balm than a gloss which makes it so comfortable and also natural looking in terms of its finish. In terms of colour, there is also quite a lot of pigment, the application is really smooth and even but the colour intensity is a lot stronger than a lot of these other glosses so I am more likely to wear this on its own. I find that this gloss is the perfect one to just throw on quickly without looking in the mirror because the applicator is a little longer so you can apply this is one swipe and you are done.

If you have been reading my blog for a while, you will know that I just love this gloss formula because it is just so easy. They are just a nice gloss. Keeping it straightforward, there is nothing special about this gloss, it has a little bit of pigment and nice but natural glossy finish but because they are super thin and lightweight so you could apply them and not even feel them. I love the colour range NYX have in this formula because even though it is only a small amount of pigment you can still manipulate a colour underneath which I think is lovely.

I think that this is quite an interesting formula because it is a thicker gloss but the finish is very lovely. This gloss, I think, has a nice amount of pigment to it but the finish is also quite intense. You can definitely feel this gloss on the lips as it is quite thick but it is not crazy sticky still. For me, this is a gloss I would wear if I want something quite intense but one that would also last a long time.

This is the sort of gloss that you either love or hate mainly because of how it feels on the lips. It has that tingling effect and a super minty scent a bit like the Buxom one but more extreme I would say. This gloss, like the majority I have mentioned, has got very minimal pigment and so I do like it on its own. The finish is also pretty typical too but you can feel it on the lips. I definitely think that it is a pretty good dupe for the Buxom gloss because of how similar their formulas there are.

I know that a lot of these glosses are quite similar but hopefully, there was something for everyone here.
