Let's Travel To Florida - Week One!

Hi everyone, for today's post I am going to be talking you through what I did in week one of Orlando, Florida 2016. I hope you enjoy, don't forget to comment below for week two if you want to see more!
Tuesday 29th March - Bye Bye England...
Honestly, the night before a holiday I never sleep, but because I was so tired from helping my brother with his uni dissertation (until 1:00 in the morning, might I add) I managed to have a little nap. I woke up around 6:15 and we were not leaving the house until 10:00 so I had a lot of spare time. After lying in bed on my phone, for a little too long, I went into the bathroom, brushed my teeth, washed my face and headed back into my bedroom. I then put a bit of toner on but instead of using my daily moisturizer, I used a bit of Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream mixed in with some E45 cream and applied that on my face instead, for some extra moisture. When it's a long, travel filled day, I always dress comfortable, so for this occasion I wore my Adidas cropped leggings, a baggy grey t-shirt and a PINK hoodie with some Nike trainers. I then dutch braided my hair to keep it out of my face and finished packing the last of my toiletries. Toothbrush, Check, Face Wash, Check, Hair Brush, Check and then my main luggage was ready to go. All that was left was my hand luggage, so I just packed my laptop, IPad, all chargers, medication, my holiday book and some other bits and pieces. *Comment below whether you want a whole separate post on whats in my carry on*. At this point it was about 7:30, so I was getting hungry, I went downstairs and had my typical (unhealthy) breakfast, chocolate pop tarts with a fresh bottle of cold water. After my breakfast and with the last of my remaining water I took my daily tablets and my travel sickness tablet. Now that I was packed and ready to go by 8 O'Clock, I could just chill. We said goodbye to our dogs, who are staying with my auntie while we are away, we just had to wait for our taxi. Finally it arrived at 9:50 and we all got in with our cases ready to go. The journey to Manchester Airport was around 45 minutes in the taxi but once getting there, we just got all of the boring check in stuff, out of the way. Finally we got into duty free and I had a little wonder but everything I wanted was sold out *crying* so I just picked up a word-search book from WHSmith because there was no magazines and some body care stuff from Boots. We boarded the plane at 12:45 and at this point I was feeling super anxious as I am not good when it comes to flying in a plane. Anyway, during the flight I watched a film, read some of my book, and just generally doing boring things. The flight was a grand total of 9 hours and right before landing there was thunder and lightning in Orlando so we couldn't land. By this point, I was panicking, we flew in circles, but finally landed safely at 5:15. Once again got through all of the boring stuff and then we were set free into Orlando. My mum and dad are driving a car each in Orlando, because there will be 9 of us at one point so two cars were needed. I went in one car with my dad and brother, so my mum was in the other with my granddad and uncle. From Orlando airport to where we are staying, took around 45 minutes but because my dad got us lost it took us an hour and a half. That was a painful ride :(. Finally arriving at our villa at around 8:00 and we were all so tired that we didn't want a proper meal, so my mum and I went to Mc Donalds for a little meal. The villa was honestly breathtaking so I might give you a tour at one point! Once we ate dinner everyone went to their rooms and just slept.
Wednesday 30th March - Hello Orlando...
We all woke up super early from jet lag around 5/6 O'Clock at we all just had some breakfast. Luckily, while we driving to the villa, my mum and uncle went the supermarket. For my breakfast, I had a bowl of Lucky Charms because it is one of my favorite things about Florida and just ate that in peace. The whole aim of Tuesday was to settle down and chill. Honestly the rest of my family slept for pretty much the whole day but I did some blogging bits on my laptop and unpacked *how productive?*. Once everyone was awake again, we went in the pool, did a bit of sun bathing and got ready to go out. We dropped off my brother, granddad and uncle at the golfing range and my mum, dad and I went to the "supermarket" to get food, when really we went to a sport shop, called Dicks, to get my Granddad a birthday present but we did go the supermarket after to get things my mum forgot yesterday. Once everyone was back in the Villa we went out to a local restaurant, Applebees, to have a proper dinner, at around 6:30. Again, because of the time difference, we were super tired so as soon as we got back, we all just went straight to bed but I stayed up to decorate the villa for my granddad's birthday.
Thursday 31st March - Happy Birthday Granddad!!!
Today was my granddads birthday and the only thing he wanted to do was play a round of golf. My granddad, brother, uncle and dad all got ready to play 18 holes of golf, but my mum and I were up from all of the noise, this was around quarter past six. He opened his presents, my mum surprised him with football tickets to wembly arena, semi final (he supports everton) and some new golf clothes. Once they had left, I got in some workout clothes and went on a run around the resort. No one actually though I would go running while being on holiday but I have been going every other day, and honestly I am proud! Anyway, once I came back from my run, I got into a bikini and cover up, had a glass of water, a bowl of lucky charms and sat on the couch catching up with all things on the internet. Once I had enough, I went to sunbath outside with my mum until the boys got back. They finally came back at around 12:30 and so we were all ready for some lunch. My mum and I went to get a Mc Donalds for me, mum, dad and my brother but my granddad and uncle made some bacon and egg instead. We all just ate our lunch and soon after everyone was outside in the pool by 2:00. By 3:30 everyone was tired from jet lag so they all went for a sleep, but not me, I stayed awake. We were not going out for dinner until 6:30 so I just spent three hours, getting ready and keeping up on all social media. Finally at 6:30 we all went out for dinner at our favorite place, Longhorn steakhouse. Honestly we have waited three years to come back to this restaurant they make the best food EVER! We all had a steak for our dinner because, why not? but because it was my Granddad's birthday, they brought him out a little ice cream and a candle. Sadly my granddad wasn't a bit fan of all the chocolate so me and my mum ate it instead. We finished dinner at about 8:15 so again we all just went straight to bed, once we came back.
Friday 1st April - Let's get out the villa...
Thursday night we decided we were going to go to the water park today and so no one got a lie in. We were all up for 6:30 because we were leaving at 8:00. Straight away everyone was eating their choice of breakfast, and getting ready. I, again, had lucky charms (you will soon see a pattern) and a bottle of water, but finished that quickly so I could get ready. Once finishing my breakfast, I got changed and packed my beach bag. As always, I was the first one ready so I just chilled for half an hour. By 8:15 we were on our way to the water park, it didn't open until 9:00 which was perfect because that was the exact time we got there. We got our spot in the water park and me being the sensible person I am, I put sun cream on too. Then it was time to go on the rides. My granddad doesn't like the rides so he just sunbathed, while minding our bags, meanwhile we went round the lazy river a few times and headed to the main water rides. Firstly we went on the family rides and luckily there was not a lot of queuing to do, because we got there so early. After that ride we just went on more and more until it was lunchtime. For lunch I had a hot dog and chips but honestly it was not a nice meal. Before we left, we went on the lazy river a few more times and dried off. By 1:30, we were out of the park heading to the Irish bar we always go to. The same man was there from years and years ago and still managed to recognize us. We all just had a drink and while my dad and brother were playing pool and my granddad and uncle went to the golf shop next door, me and my mum were just chatting. We stayed there until 3:00 and then headed back to the villa to get ready for dinner. Once being back at the villa, guess what? everyone went to sleep, but again, I didn't. We left for dinner at 6:15 to another restaurant we like called Applebees. I had buffalo wings for starter, chicken tenders for dinner but I was too full for desert. We came back at 7:30 and just relaxed until we were ready to go to bed.
Saturday 2nd April - Damage day one...
I woke up pretty early today, around 8 O'Clock and I actually got myself ready to go on a jog. It only took me around 20 minutes to have breakfast and get ready before leaving the house to run, run, run. I am not the fastest runner and I can only run for so long until my knees start to hurt, so I headed back after 15 minutes ready to have a shower. All of the boys were playing golf so it was just my mum in the villa so she got a little worried (Oops!). Anyway, came back, showered and got ready for shopping! We left for shopping at about 9:15 as it takes an hour to get there. We headed off just chatting in the car and we parked in the mall, all ready to shop. I am not going to tell you what I bought because there may be a haul but my mum treated me to a few things. We went in PINK, Victoria Secret, Bath and Body Works, Wet Seal, Areopostale, Michael Kors and Sephora. Once we were finished, 1:15, we left and headed back to the villa to join the boys. For the rest of the day, we just chilled, I did some blog work and then at around 3:00, I started getting ready for tonight. I did my makeup, hair, outfit and once I was finished I went back on my phone keeping up with all media. We went out for a meal at Applebees (Can't remember what I had) and then came back and went straight to bed.
Sunday - Damage day two...
Two shopping days in a row, Oops! During the morning we all just chilled, no one went to golf, we all just stayed by the pool and relaxed. By early afternoon, my mum and I went to Maccies to get everyone something to eat, I had 10 chicken nuggets, fries and a milkshake, which was amazing! We then decided what the rest of the day was going to hold, so we left for the designer outlet at 2:30 and my parents spoilt me while I was there, so if you are interested as to know what I got, comment below telling me you want a haul. We went in Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, Converse, Nike, Ralph Lauren and it was so much fun. Since Longhorn was right by the outlet, we went there for our dinner and they never disapoint, it was brilliant! Again, after such a long day we all just relax in the villa, watching tv and headed straight for bed.
Monday - We did nothing...
Same old, same old. I woke up usual time (around 8-9 O'Clock) got in some workout gear and went on another run. I have now found out that by going on a run in the early morning really boosts your mood for the rest of the day. I only ran for 10 minutes but I came straight back, got in my bikini and laid out in the sun for a bit. When the boys were back from golf (again) they made lunch and my brother and I played volleyball in the pool for a bit. At this point it was 2:00 so dried off outside and did a little sunbathing. Then I began to get ready and do a few more social media things before going to Applebees for another quick meal. We came home around 8 O'Clock and we all stayed up for a little, playing games, watching tv, but we all just started to drift to sleep, so it was about time we went to bed.

I really hope you enjoyed this post, sorry it was long. Let me know whether you want Week 2 or not as I could put up something else instead. Have a great day!

#AdvicewithGrace - Anxious Flying

Hi everyone,
As you can tell by the title, I am going to be doing another #AdvicewithGrace. Now if you have recently been following me on social media, then you will know that I am currently in Orlando, Florida. I love going on holiday and I have been to Orlando lots of times, so I guess I know it pretty well. Saying that, the one thing I hate about going to Orlando is flying there by plane. 9/10 times when I go on holiday, it is a 5+ hour flight. I don't get anxious at a lot of things but flying in a plane for over five hours, scares the heck out of me. As you can probably guess from the massive introduction, I am going to share with you my ways of coping with anxiety on a long flight.

Don't over think
I am an over thinker, it is no lie but when it comes to flying it is not the great thing to be doing. If you are constantly thinking about the flight and where you are, what you’re doing, what everyone else is doing, then you’re just going to become very anxious.

Focus on the destination

If you are thinking, then think positive. The destination might be more exciting to you then the journey so don’t think about being trapped on a plane for 5+ hours, think about where you are going, how lucky you are, where you’re staying, what you’re going to do.

Breath
This goes for whenever you are feeling anxious, focus on the way you breath. A deep breath in and a deep breath out. Honestly, I find that this keeps me super calm and relax, so you should really try it out, in any anxious situation.

Keep on top of things
Being stressed can be started if you are disorganized and have forgotten things. To stop this, a few days before flying plan EVERYTHING! but do it your way, lists, mind maps, notes, pictures, anything that works for you. In result of this, you will be more calmer on the flight because you know you have got everything you need and you will make it there safely.

Rest
On a flight the best thing to do is catch up on sleep. I know it is not easy (trust me, I know!) but it will make the flight go quicker and it will relax you more. If you struggle sleeping, maybe look into sleeping pills but only if nessesary but do try and sleep on your own. There are lots of ways to help you sleep in uncomfortable or anxious situations, bring a pillow or teddy, eat a big meal before getting on the plane, eye masks, but your chair back, wrap yourself in a blanket, got an idea yet?

Hopefully now this post has helped you to cope with and understand anxious flying. Let me know if you have any other tips in the comments, and I will reply. Have a great day!

The Infinity Dreams Award

Hi everyone,
Today I am going a bit old school as I have not done a sort of "get to know me" post in what feels like forever. Thanks to the lovely Emsi Rose (Blog link here) for nominating me, so thank you if your reading <3 Anyway lets get started!

Rules
- thank the blogger who thanked you
- tell 11 facts about themselves
- answer 11 questions
- tag blogger

My Questions
1. What quote inspires you?
I love the quote "everything happens for a reason", I think it is such a simple quote but yet it still had so much meaning. I also love "good things fall apart so better things can fall back into place" so both of them inspire me.

2. Do you have any family traditions?
I don't think we do, I have a pretty standard family (in a good way) as we are just super chilled so I don't think we have traditions that we stick to
.
3. What's one place you would love to visit?
There are so many places! Just a few are Brazil, Canada, New York, Auschwitz, South Africa, but that is just a few from a very long list as I do hope to travel a lot.

4. What's your everyday make up routine?
Primer - Nivea post shave balm
Foundation - L'Oreal True match (mixed with a bit of moisturizer)
Concealer - Rimmel Wake me up
- Collection Lasting perfection
- Seventeen Stay time
Powder - Seventeen Define and conquer contour kit (highlight powder)
Blush and Highlight - Naked Flushed in Native
Eye Primer - Mac Paint pot in Painterly
Eye Shadow - Seventeen Define and conquer contour kit (both shades)
Mascara - Benefit They're Real
Brows - Maybelline Brow Drama in Dark Blonde
Lip Gloss - Artdeco lip booster in 38

5. What are three things you like about your appearance?
Honestly, I don't know, there is not really much I like about my appearance because I am so insecure about the way I look, so I'm afraid I cannot answer that.

6. How long have you been blogging and what inspires you to blog?
I have been blogging for about a year and a half. I wasn't really inspired, I was just bored one day and made a blog. Now I get inspired by everything when it comes to blogging.

7. What are three things you like about your personality?
I feel like I am quite trustful, organised and not judgmental, and I think a lot of people aren't so much like that anymore.

8. What's your favourite food?
That's like asking me how many hairs are on my head! I don't have a clue, I love spicy boneless wings as a meal favorite, for desert I would say warm, chocolate brownie. But if we are talking something small it would be a boiled egg batch. Mmmmmmmmm!

9. Favourite time of day?
I do love the late afternoon, early evening just because I feel like that's when I am at my happiest.

10. Top skin care product?
At the moment it is actually coconut oil because there are just so many different uses for it and it is super gentle on my skin.

11. What school subject interests you the most?
To be honest I am interested in all of my subjects. I do get really engaged into history and English but practical subjects it would be art and ict.

I nominate
Well Well Girls - wellwellgirls.blogspot.com

If you want to answer my questions, leave a comment telling me so and I will add you to this list.

10. If you had a lot of money, what would you spend it on?
11. What is your signature scent?

The Travelling Saviours

Hi everyone,
For today's post I wanted to do something a little different. Since the warmer weather is upon us, so are the holidays and that means travelling. If you are anything like me you over pack in every category clothes, shoes, toiletries and especially makeup. That's why today I am going to be sharing with you some makeup palettes that make traveling that whole lot easier. Enjoy!

Sephora Wishes Come True Palette
This palette has your whole face and eyes sorted. The packaging is very small and compact with six eye shadows, two highlighters and a blush. All of the eye shadows are super neutral three are matte and three are shimmer so you get a great variety. The blush is super wearable and it would suit every skin tone, it's very build-able also. For the two highlights, they are just breathless. There is a more golden one and a more white one and if you wanted to, you could mix them. This palette is great for someone who wants all there powder products in one space.

Urban Decay Naked Flush
Urban Decay are famous for their amazing palettes, including this one. The naked flushed palettes have a bronzer, blush and highlight with a mirror all in a small compact. All are super pigmented and since there are different shades in the Naked flushed palettes, you can pick the one best suited to you. This is perfect for travelling because you get a mirror so it's easy for on the go, it is magnetic so nothing will ever mix with the powders and each powder is amazing so each powder will get used just as much.

Seventeen Define and Conquer Contour Kit
This is so so so much like Nars and I am liking it. This is a super small compact with two matte powders. One is a matte white and the other is a matte contour/bronzer shade. For me, I use the white as a face powder because it's not overly pigmented but it's weirdly mattifying and for the contour/bronzer shade, I use it around the perimeter of my face to add a little warmth. If you are into a super natural eye this is great too because they make great eye shadows. Just apply the white all over the lid, inner corner and brow bone then put the brown in the crease for a super natural look. This again comes with a mirror which is super handy. It comes in too shades this product so you can get one to suit your skin tone.

Artdeco Most Wanted Brown Palette
This is the perfect palette for anyone who loves a good, old, classic neutral eye. This is the product with the bulkiest packaging, which is not idea, but it is worth that extra space. It does come with a very reasonable mirror and the shadows themselves are amazing. It comes with a great range of neutrals from light to dark, cool and warm, matte and shimmers so it has great variety. I also think it's a good alternative from the naked palettes too because I feel like the shades in the palette complement each other a lot better then some of the shades in the naked palettes.

MUA LUXE Utopia Palette
I love this product because it is so cute and small. This is an eye palette which includes 10 baked eye shadows, all in super neutral shades. The packaging is small but very sleek, and inside it comes with a huge mirror and the product, no extra space for one of those stupid brushes *Thank Goodness*. The eye shadows themselves are a bit on the powdery side, but they have great pigmentation, last a while with primer underneath and are very bendable. This product only costs £8 so there is no need to break the bank.

I hope you enjoyed this post. Let me know whether you own any of these palettes or your go-to travel friendly palette. Have a great day!

Empties #3

Hi everyone,
Today is going to once again be another empties post. Recently I have finished a lot of products, makeup, hair, body, skincare, a bit of everything, so expect a few more empty posts coming soon. Lets just get started!
Colab Dry Shampoo
Opinion: This is probably my all time favorite dry shampoo. I find the formula a lot more lightweight then batiste, which is good for my type of hair. Honestly, I can go through one of these in about a month and the huge bottles are only cheap, so it doesn't break the bank to repurchase it.
Rate out of ten: 10/10, I will always love this dry shampoo.
Would I repurchase it? Yes, whenever I go to superdrug, I always top up on one of these.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
Opinion: If you have read my recent favorites (Link here) you will know I have been loving this recently. I do find this concealer to be hit and miss at times but I finished off this tube and had to buy another one.
Rate out of ten: 7/10, it's a good concealer but it can cake up from time to time.
Would I repurchase it? Yes because it is so affordable and does the job perfectly.

Witch Blemish Stick
Opinion: I bought this a while back a I have managed to use it all up. Honestly, I feel like it didn't do anything to improve my skin but then again it was only cheap. I have got ache so a spot treatment that actually works is very rare.
Rate out of ten: 3/10, It was cheap and a good product to try but it didn't do enough for me.
Would I repurchase it? No just because I didn't see a noticeable difference in my skin.

Simple eye makeup remover
Opinion: This has honestly lasted me so so so long and it removes my eye makeup like a dream. Sometimes I even use it to spot clean my brushes. This product does not irritate my eyes and it takes seconds to remove all product.
Rate out of ten: 9/10 It is amazing for the price and is definitely worth picking up.
Would I repurchase it? Yes because it is great for when you have heavy eye makeup on.

Soap and Glory Righteous Butter
Opinion: I love love love this product. It is one of the only body moisturizers I can say I love. It is super thick but sinks into the skin easily.
Rate out of ten: 10/10 the scent, formulation and texture is just amazing!
Would I repurchase it? Yes but I have a few tubs to get through first from Christmas!

I really hope you enjoyed this empties post, let me know whether you want to see these more often or less often. Have a great day!

March Favorites

Hi everyone,
I know it's a little late but I hope you don't mind, today I am going to be sharing with you my March Favorites. Honestly I cannot believe it is April and as you are reading this I am in Orlando, Florida so expect lots and lots of photos and blog posts based around what I have been getting up to. I hope you enjoy this post!

Makeup
L'Oreal True match foundation - This has became such a staple in my everyday makeup routine. I never use to like wear foundation but I really love this one. I like to mix about half a pump in with my moisturizer and it creates the perfect healthy skin look.
Collection Lasting perfection concealer - This is just a cult favorite, I find it quite a love-hate relationship but recently, I have been loving it. I like to use this mixed with my Rimmel Wake me up concealer to highlight and they just work perfectly together.
Seventeen Define and Conquer contour kit - This duo is so amazing, both the highlighter and bronzer are brilliant. I find it really hard to find a drugstore, matte bronzer but this has it. I know the darker shade is suppose to be a contour but it is a little to warm for my skin tone so I use it for bronzing. I like to use the highlight as a face powder as it adds a little glow to my skin, and it is surprisingly mattifying.
Mac Painterly Paint pot - I got this for Christmas and I either use this or my nyx jumbo eye pencil in milk but recently I have been reaching for this a little more often. Every time I do wear makeup, this has to be used, it creates the perfect tacky base for any eye shadow. Because of the colour it cancels out all of the blue veins with out making the eyes look unnatural.
Artdeco Hydro Lip Booster in 36 - This is just the perfect lip gloss for any colour. It is a beautiful nude shade which enhances any colour underneath. I never use to be a lip gloss person but this product has transformed that opinion. What I love most about this gloss is the formulation, it is not stick in the slightest, it almost acts like a lip balm and it is super light on the lips. Definitely need more shades!

Skincare/Body Care
Zoella Le's Spritz Body Mist - This is my spring scent at the moment. I have never been the biggest perfume fan as I much prefer a lighter scent. This scent reminds me so much of spring and it is just a beautiful fragrance. I apply this daily and I do get complements from wearing this, which is always a plus.

Hair Care
Wella Oil Reflections Serum - Hair oils and serums are my favorite hair product and I feel like they make the most difference. This one in particular has been a favorite but I am beginning to branch out into more affordable hair brands. I use oils on both dry and damp hair, neither of them disappoint the effect it gives. Naturally I have quite dry and frizzy hair so by using an oil, it helps to tame it and this one works amazingly.

Fashion
Boohoo.com - I know hat this isn't a piece of clothing but it is a fashion brand and OMG it is a fabulous brand. Like I said in the intro, I am currently in Florida and so I "need" some new clothing pieces appropriate for the warmer weather. I had a little browse on Boohoo and everything was so affordable and there was also a code to get £1.99 next day delivery, which I could pass down. I made two orders from Boohoo and there is not one thing I am dissapointed with.

Music
Joel Adams, Please don't go - OMG if you have not heard this song, you need to and I mean you NEED to. This song has a beautiful melody and his voice is just perfect. I have had this song on repeat for all of March and I can't get enough of it.

I really hope you enjoyed this post, let me know what you have been up to recently. Have a great day!
