Current Beauty Favourites!

As much as I love a good monthly favourites blog post, last year I found myself forcing products in the post because I didn't feel like I had enough to talk about. This year, I have decided that I am just going to do favourites blog posts whenever I feel like I have rediscovered or fallen for a selection of products. That so happens to be today, after Christmas and getting a few new things, I have been doing a lot of testing and recently I have just found myself really switching up the products I use so I thought I would share them. I do have enough beauty favourites to just do a current beauty favourites but maybe some of the later favourites posts might be more random. For now though, I am just going to be sharing some new beautiful favourites which I have really loved while stepping into the new year.
I am going to start with the makeup and I have found a new favourite foundation. Nothing comes close to my LA Girl foundation but sometimes I find that I don't want something full coverage and I want something more daytime appropriate. When I picked up The Ordinary Serum Foundation, I don't really know what I was expecting but it was so affordable and after trying it, I have been reaching for it loads. A typical Grace dilemma, I bought this in my wrong shade so I do mix this with my white foundation but it doesn't mess with the formula. This feels so hydrating and lightweight on the skin but I would say the coverage is quite light to medium. I quite like that though because the finish is so natural and skin like but your skin looks flawless, it's great. I have been reaching for this foundation a lot recently so I needed to include it in this post.

You might have seen me talk about the NYX Strobe of Genius Illuminating Palette in some of my most recent makeup look blog posts but I am not doing it on purpose, but I have found myself reaching for this loads recently. Some of the shades in this palette are quite colourful and not really for me, especially everyday, but usually I mix the two shades on the outside in the bigger pans which creates my perfect champagne highlight. This is quite glittery but with a light hand and slowly building it up, it creates the perfect glow.
I have been getting so bored of blush lately, there has just not been a blush in my collection that has been screaming my name apart from the Milani Luminoso Baked Blush. This blush has so much hype around it and rightly so because it is the most beautiful everyday blush. This shade is very peachy and neutral which is exactly what I love because it goes with everything, whether that is something super warm, cool or even colourful. You know I am not one for a shimmery blush but for some reason, this one is not super glittery, it just looks like skin and I love that. I will warn you, this blush is crazy pigmented so just be aware that you might want to apply this with a light hand.

Recently, I have been here for this super pale nude lip trend. I feel like I am so late to this, but when I use to wear nudes, they were quite dark which I still don't mind but since discovering the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Cairo I have been all over this pale nude lips. My favourite way to use this is in the centre of the lips with a darker lip liner around the edges. Probably my favourite thing about this shade is the fact that it just looks so good with  every look on the eyes and face. I have been wearing this like mad recently and I will probably continue to do so because it has quickly became one of my ride or die lip products.

I love makeup brushes just as much as I love the actual makeup sometimes, I just find that you can never have too many. They all come in different shapes and sizes with a how mixture of ways you can use them. This Beauty Professional Eye Brush Set was one of my Christmas gifts last year and I have been so in love with these brushes. I think I love these so much because of how unique they are, like the contour fan brush or the precision concealer brush, which I actually use to set my under eyes, but the shapes of these brushes are unlike anything you would be able to find from any of your mainstream brush brands. You get 8 brushes in this set and a little makeup bag which is so beautiful and also such a good value for money. According to my mum she bought these in Costco but I have linked a website that you can buy them from and I highly suggest you do because they are lovely. They are so well made and I now cannot do my makeup without them.

Again, another little Christmas present and this one has soon became the best and most efficient way to clean my make up brushes. I do not clean my makeup brushes often enough because I am so lazy and it just takes so long but after seeing a lot of people try the StylPro Makeup Brush Cleaner and Dryer I soon added it to my wishlist. My parents very kindly bought me this for Christmas and I have used it loads since. I have not linked the exact one I have but it is pretty much the exact same thing just without the logo. Anyway, this is like an electric, rotating brush handle that you attach your brushes to and then you dip them in you brush clean and water while it spins and then your brushes are clean in seconds. I am still contemplating doing a whole in depth review on this, so let me know if you want me to do that, but I mainly love this so much because usually it takes my brushes about 24 hours to dry but because this handle thing rotates so quickly, the brush fibres dry in seconds so you can use it again straight after cleaning them. If you are a makeup artist or you only have a small selection of makeup brushes, and you need your brushes to be clean and dry straight after using them once, this is the perfect things. I honestly can't imagine my life without this anymore, it has been an absolute life saver!

I love a good body lotion and Soap and Glory do some of my favourites but I had never tried the Soap and Glory Body Milk until recently and I am now obsessed. The first thing I noticed about this was how different the scent was to anything else from Soap and Glory, it smells like a sweet bakery, it's delicious. Another little thing I love is the fact you get it out through a pump, I have no idea why I love that so much but it makes disposing it so satisfying and you can also control how much product you get more than if it was in a tub. The most important thing about this body milk though is that it makes my skin feel so nourished and soft. It is quite a thick formula so it does take a little bit to sink in but nothing too bad but once it has soaked into the skin you just feel like a new person. This is definitely up there with some of my favourite moisturising body products and I don't think I am going to be switching up my body moisturiser anytime soon.

Finally for beauty products is the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion. I have heard so many people talk about this and claim that it just makes your spots disappear. Now, realistically, I knew my spots wouldn't just disappear with this, but I was curious so it quickly got put onto my wishlist and again, was a Christmas present from my parents. This is a nice spot treatment, it is a lot better than ones I had previously tried, but like I suspected, it doesn't just make my blemishes disappear. It usually helps fade my scaring or get rid of spots before that have came to the surface. I will say that if you use it every night or too often for your skin, your skin will start to get use to it and it won't do as much. I learnt this fairly quickly but I thought it was worth mentioning, so now I use it once or maybe twice a week. So far though, I am liking it and it has became a quick favourite in my skincare routine.

I would love it if you commented some of your current beauty favourites, I really hoped your enjoyed and here's to more favourites posts in 2018!

New Makeup Releases! What's On My Wishlist?!

I have been seeing so many makeup brands releasing so many new products and they all look so beautiful so I thought I would share them with you today. My wishlist when it comes to makeup is endless so it did take me a while to narrow this down but I did want to keep it short and sweet so I hope you don't mind.
Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow
It might be hard to believe, but I have never tried these from Still yet and I know I am so late on the hype but they just seem like so much money. They have released a few new shades of the Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter and Glow Liquid Eye Shadows and now I am spoilt for choice. These just seem so beautiful and I feel like I am really missing something like this in my collection at the moment. I do think that if I was to get one of these I would probably get a pale gold or a neutral shade because that way I would get the most wear out of it.
Stila Magnificent Metals Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow
While we are on this Stila topic, they have also released the Stila Magnificent Metals Shimmer and Glow Liquid Eye Shadow, these are really similar to the first ones I mentioned but they come across as a more wearable and day to day eye product. Again these come in so many colours but I am sort of torn between the two formulas but something is telling me to get them both, we will see.
Next up is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte Lipstick Nudes Set, it's no lie that I love a good nude lip but what I liked so much about this set is the unique shades. I love the purple and pink lip colours in this set as I have never seen anything like them before. I have also never tried any ABH lip products so I feel like this would be a good way to test the waters.Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder
These are fairly new to Beauty Bay and us UK people so I really want to give them a try as I am craving a new highlighter. I have heard so many good things about the Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder and they just seem like the most glowy, intense highlighters ever. I also think that these would make the most beautiful eye shadows for the lid. They also come in so many colours so you are spoilt for choice but let me know if you have tried these because I am so desperate to give them a go.

It is no lie that I am an eye shadow addict and this palette has just stolen my heart. It's the Violet Voss Hashtag Eye Shadow Palette, I have never tried anything from Violet Voss before but her eye shadow palettes always look so beautiful, they were just not unusual enough for me to want to buy them until I saw this one. This palette does include a lot warm tones but I love the look of the purple colours on the bottom row, they just seem so vibrant and unique. I think you could create so many different looks with this palette and with spring coming up, this is definitely on my to buy list.
Dose of Colors Sassy Siennas Palette

I obviously couldn't just mention one eye shadow palette because that would be bizarre considering how many new and beautiful eye shadow releases there have been recently and so I also have the Dose Of Colors Sassy Siennas Eye Shadow Palette on my wishlist. I have seen these little Dose of Colours palettes running around the internet over the last few months but this colour selection in particular is just so beautiful. I love the light peachy shades at the start of the palette because I feel as though you can't always find that pale peachy orange colour. I am also pretty sure majority if not all of this palette is matte which you know if you have been reading my blog for a while, I love a good matte eye shadow palette. I just find that they are so versatile and the easiest to work with but also the hardest to get right and so I am always on the hunt for a good matte eye shadow formula. This palette just seems like the most perfect warm on-the-go palette for the everyday girl and I would love to have this in my collection.
This concealer has blown up the whole makeup community at the moment and I am so desperate to get my hands on it. I am obviously talking about the Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer. This seems like the perfect dupe for the Taste Shape Tape and after seeing so many reviews and positive responses, I really want to try it out for myself. The min reason I have not picked this up yet is because I am waiting to go and get them in store because I am not too sure what shade I would be. I love that they have released so many colours for all sorts of skin tones but that does make it a little harder to guess your shade online so I am going to hang fire a little bit and wait until I am in store to swatch and choose a few shades.
The last few things I have left to talk about are all from Collection and some of these product have been out for a while but what made me put them on my wishlist was their new expansion of shades. The first one being their new shades in the Collection Lasting Perfection Foundation. I have tried the illuminating version of this foundation and I really liked it, but I did say in the review I did that the one downer was their lack of shades. Even though they are still yet to expand the shades in the illuminating version, I am so glad they have expand the shade range in this foundation. I do still think that they haven't catered for the people out there with deeper skin tones but for the pale people, they probably have released a shade for you. I definitely want to pick up this foundation and give it a try, especially because I feel like it can now catered for a lot of different people.
Probably the most exciting release so far this year is the expansion of shades in the ever so famous Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. They have only added two new shades to this concealer but one of them is super dark and the other is super fair. This excites me greatly because I have always thought that this concealer formula would make a great cream contour and so hopefully, this shade I might be able to use to cream bronze/contour with because it is a little on the warm side from the pictures I have seen. The pale shade as well is super exciting because even though their palest shade before this release still highlighted my under eyes for me, I just think that this shade can brighten up that under eye even more which I would love to experience.
The final product I am mentioning in this post is another product from Collection, but this time it is the Collection Liquid Lip Colours. From what I have tried, I have really like Collection makeup and so I am always wanting to try out more from them. When I saw that they had released liquid lipsticks I was so excited. They have only released six shades, all of which are very neutral, but I don't mind because nude lips are my most worn and are my most favourite. I love a good liquid lipstick so I really want to put these to the test.

This post was a little different for me so let me know what you thought. Also let me know which products I should pick up and review for you guys because I would love to do that.

Shimmery Green Eye Makeup - Chatty Tutorial

It was my mum's birthday a few days back and when I was getting ready to go out for a meal to celebrate, I felt really uninspired as to what I should do with my eye shadow. In typical Grace style though, I looked at what I was wearing and decided to do something with the shimmery green shade in the Morphe X Jaclyn Hill Palette. I was playing around when I created this so if it seems like I am using a lot of products, then that is why. Saying that, I really hope you like what I came up with.

I always do my makeup in a weird order, I am just constantly alternating between my eyes and base, but I started off by priming today with the Primark Primer Water. Since that primer is a little glowy, I wanted to use a more smoothing primer around the places where I tend to crease because I find that by doing this, my foundation will go on a lot better. My choice is the Freedom Pro Mattify and I focused the product on my nose, chin, under eyes and the centre of my forehead.
I then moved onto my brows and filled them in with my favourite Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade in Taupe. You know I love this, I applied it with a wing liner brush and just softly added in hair-like strokes until they were how I like them to be, full looking but not like two blocks. To keep them in place, I used the Collection Clear Mascara. Every time I fill in my brows, I always manage to go a little out of the line, so I have to carve them out and to do so I use the Hard Candy Glamoflauge Concealer in Ivory because I find that it gives a clean canvas and because it is lighter than my skin tone, I can really see where I am putting it. I am also just bring this over the whole eyelid to just so I can create a base for the eye shadow to go over. This concealer needs to be set if I want to ensure that my crease colours blend, so I am just packing on a bit of the RCMA No Colour Powder just all over where I put that concealer so that nothing creases and everything blends well.
Onto the eye shadow, I was really playing about so I did use a whole mix of shades but you really can just use what you own. I started off though with a matte white shade, mine being Whipped Cream by NYX and I packed that on the brow bone and blended it under the brow too just so it blends in with the eyelid but also gives a subtle brow bone highlight. Starting with the crease then, I used Issues by Colourpop on a super fluffy blending brush and just began to put that in the crease. To further deepen the crease, I used Sweet Life by Freedom and again, on a fluffy crease brush, just blended that in. I really made sure that these two shades were really well blended because when we go into the darker shades, you don't want the look to go muddy so really take your time on this. I then wanted to deepen the outer part of the crease and the outer corner, so I took Cocoa Bear by Makeup Geek and a darker brown shade from the Jaclyn Hill X Morphe Eye Shadow Palette and just placed it on the areas I wanted it in with a small dense eye brush, and then blended it out with a clean fluffier brush just so no other colour gets mixed in with it at first. This look did take a lot of blending and a lot of going back an forth so just bare that in mind. I then started to add in the green, so on a small, dense domed brush, I took the dark green shade from the same Morphe Palette and packed that on my outer corner but also on the outer part of my eyelid, I then took that clean blending brush again and just started to blend the edges of where I first placed the shadow. This is when I cut the crease using that same Hard Candy Concealer and I just used a really small flat brush and took my time to really get the shape on my lid. I then set that with the matte white shade from NYX and then it was time for the shimmery green. I took a flat shader brush and with that shimmery green shade from the Morphe palette, I packed it on where I had carved out the lid, not going any higher or anywhere near the outer part. To make the matte shades blend with the shimmery one, I took that brush I used with the dark green shade and just packed on a bit more of that dark green shade over where the shimmer meets the matte. The shimmery green looked great but I wanted to lighten it up a little so I took Take A Break by Colourpop and with my finger, just packed a little bit of it on top of the shimmer green but focusing it on the centre, and again, just blending it in a little with the shimmery green underneath. To highlight the inner corner I used the two lightest shades from the Ofra X NikkieTutorials Everglow Highlighter.
For the rest of the eyes, I used the Colourpop Honeydude Creme Gel Liner on the water line to open up the eyes a little after all of those dark shadows and then for mascara I used the Collection Volumax Waterproof mascara. Nothing new there but I just love this mascara. I did a few coats because I wanted the lashes to be really thick and full but also dark to match the eye shadow.
As for the rest of the face, I used the LA Girl Pro Coverage Foundation in Fair and White mixed to create my custom colour and just blended that all over the skin with a damp sponge. I then cream contoured with the LA Girl Pro Concealer in Toast and blending that out with a duo fibre face brush but then going over that, to further blend, with the damp sponge again. Since the eyes were quite intense, I wanted to make my highlighter quite bold also so I used the Iconic London Original Liquid Illuminator as a base for the powder highlight to stick to, which I will come to after, but I just put that on my cheekbones, nose and Cupid's bow and blend that out with the damp sponge again. I then concealer my under eyes and the other high point of my face with the Urban Decay Naked Concealer in Light Warm mixed with the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Light and finally, again, blending that out with that same damp sponge. Setting the under eyes with the RCMA No Colour Powder and also cleaning up that cream contour by packing some of this powder on under the cheekbones. I then set that cream contour with a bit of the Makeup Revolution Ultra Bronze Bronzer. I then set the highlighter with the two lightest shades from the Ofra X NikkieTutorials Everglow Highlighter again and this really intensified the cream highlighter. Just to finish off the face, I added a bit of blush, using the Kiko Provocative Pink Blush which is still my favourite blush but one I feel like I haven't used in a while.
Back to the eyes just to do the lower lash line, I am taking those first two shades, Issues and Sweet Life just and just blending them, nothing super specific or detail and that was all I did. I then just did a coat mascara and that was the end of the eyes.
Finally for lips I am lining them with MUA Caramel Nougat Lip Liner which is such a universal nude shade, highly recommend. For all over the lips though, I am using the NYX Cairo Soft Matte Lip Cream which has been my go to lip product recently. It is the perfect pale nude which goes so well with this eye look.
Let me know what you think of this eye look and also comment below which colour I should play around with next, I would love to try something new!

Letters to the Lost - The book I read in less than a day

I love reading but I find it so hard to get into a book. I find I am so impatient to get to the plot and if it doesn't come soon enough I will just stop reading it until I force myself to finish it and I just won't enjoy it. It has been a long time since I have found a book that has had me gripped since the start. The last few books I have read I just read for the sake of finishing them and they turned out to be pretty disappointing. Also, I win the award for the world's slowest reader, as much as I love it, I am just so slow at reading but it's something I am working on. I have never finished a book the same day I started it and so this book it record breaking for me and that is why I feel like I need to talk about it, I am obsessed, it was incredible. I have never found a book to call my favourite but thesis probably the closest to winning that title, I never get that engulfed in a book so I think it is worth documenting.
The book is called Letters to the Lost and it is by Brigid Kemmerer. I am going to try and summarise what it is about so bare with me.
The story focuses on two teenage characters, Juliet Young and Declan Murphy. Juliet is dealing with the recent death of her mum, she was killed in a hit and run, her way of coping is visiting her grave and writing her letters, just like what they use to do when she was alive. As for Declan, he is rather misunderstood and puts up a good front, he is current doing community service, landscaping at the local cemetery, to make up for a crime he committed earlier in the year. He is also adapting to his family changing after his dad got sent to prison for killing Declan's sister, his mum is moving on with a new man. The story begins when Declan finds one of Juliet's letters while doing his community service, he relates to the words written that he has to reply. They continue writing letters to each other anonymously and they both share things they have never shared before, their deepest thoughts and actions. They turn out to actually know each other, they are in the same year in school, and when their real life interferes with their anonymous letters, it is only a matter of time before one of them gets hurt.
That is all I am going to say, I really don't want to ruin it for anyone as I think you should all just read it for yourself.
As for the story itself, it is written beautifully. Throughout the book, it alternates between Declan's and Juliet's perspective but the was it is written makes it so clear who is who, the author didn't need to stick their names on it, you can just tell.
I love that the first page goes straight into the plot, the first page is the letter Declan found. I love how there was no silly intro or daft summary at the start. I will say though, read the blurb before you read the book because it will make it that bit more easier to understand.
At the start they write physical letters to each other, leaving them in the cemetery for the other to find,  they share their deepest thoughts. I think this part of the books is so beautiful. I love that it maintains an almost tradition way of communication. Quickly though, it moves to anonymous email accounts and they are talking more and more, sharing more and more. This aspect is just as good because I love how they have kept the story modern and it also keeps it moving fast.
They both feel this connection, the author includes little details about butterflies or other indications that they both feel this drive towards each other. While sending the emails though, they are interacting in real life, Declan comes across as quite obnoxious and Juliet fears him at first. They begin to run into each more often and Juliet begins to see beneath the thick layer, what Declan is actually like. I love this part because some really important points are mention, how we are so easy to judge someone. They both think that they don't know each other but really without even knowing it, they have told each other their deepest secrets.
There comes a point in the book where they meet in person anonymously but only one of them actually realises that it's the other person. With one of them know who the other is, you might think it gets confusing but the writing maintains how beautiful it was at the start.
I won't lie, after reading this, you can probably guess what the turnout is and you are probably right but there are shocks and secrets revealed along the way that you will not see coming. Other characters affect the actions of Declan and Juliet, it is so twisted but all makes sense in the end.

I feel like I have talked enough about the plot but what I really love about this book are Declan and Juliet as characters. I find Juliet the most relatable, her descriptions of grief and loss are something, I think, most people understand and also a lot of her coping mechanisms are stages of grief I think a lot of us have been through. The way her grieving affects the people around her or the things she loved so much at one point, it is all very familiar to me and I felt a real connection with her throughout the book. Also the way she interacts with Declan is so familiar feeling. The way, in real life how she approaches him and the descriptions of her actions and thought make so much sense to me. Someone you thought was scary at one point seems to be the only person keeping an eye out for you, I don't know, but it just makes so much sense to me.
As for Declan, I warmed to him the most. His descriptions of everything he went through and the things that happened to the people around him, you can see how they would affect him. The actions he takes to help others is nothing about the blue but his self doubt is something I think a lot of people can relate to. He holds a lot on his shoulders, throughout the whole story, protecting people and blaming himself, it can get dark. There was actually one point in the book and the only point in the book I actually cried at, and it, without spoiling it, was at a point where everything was building and building and he just snapped. It was so emotional for me to read but his character is so beautiful. There is a certain character in the book, one of Declan's teachers, that I feel like was such a crucial part of his story. She helps him to push himself and see what she sees. The growing of this story line was so well thought out, to second guessing himself to actually find out that someone believes in him, it was amazing.
Declan was definitely my favourite out of the two, but what can I say, I love a mysterious, romantic guy in a good love story.

I think most people will really love this book and find something they can relate to, whether it is to Declan or Juliet, or even one of their closest friends who do share some dark secrets and feelings too. I love how in this book, it clearly shows how someone you don't even know can make such an effect on someone's life. Declan and Juliet both push each other to do something they never thought they would ever be able to do and they don't realise how what they said, affected them so much. I just think it's amazing and so well thought out. The book was beautiful with so many twists and turn but with such a great ending. I think that this is such a good read that will have you gripped since the start. I honestly can't say enough good things!
Do let me know if you have read this book, I would love to have someone to talk about it with!

Products I am giving a Second Chance

I would like to think that I am pretty good at clearing out my makeup collection every once and a while but even sometimes, I have the tendency to cling onto things that I don't like as much as I think I do. Whether that is because it was more expensive than what it's worth or whether it is because it looked great once but every other time after that it looked crap, I'm not really too sure but I am always wanting to give products I don't like another go. Recently I have actually found a lot of those products and so I wanted to share them.
In not order really, I am starting with a loose powder that I am just so on the fence about, that's the LA Girl Pro Powder. This powder works some days and not the next, sometimes I bake with it and I get a super smooth looking under eye but then sometimes I can get a super bright white cast. I do like this powder on the face, it is quite mattifying and makes my skin look so smooth but when I pack this on, it can sometimes look super white. Even though this is a HD powder, I find that it can flashback when I apply too much but at the same time, in daylight, it makes my skin look so airbrushed and beautiful.
I really want to see the best in this product because I think it has potential to be a really good affordable powder but I don't know whether it is just a bad powder.

A highlighter I am so skeptical about is the Jeffree Star Skin Frost in Crystal Ball. These skin frosts have so many good things said about them but after try two of the limited edition highlighters, I am just not impressed. This shade is a nice whitish highlighter with a pink shift to it. When I have tried to apply this, it can look super chunky and glittery. I think that this could make a nice highlighter topper but it is just so different to what my other highlighters are like.
I do really like the look of this highlighter but I am just not too sure as to how much wear I am going to get out of this. As much as I want to try out some of the other skin frosts, I just can't bring myself to pay another £25 for something that is not worth it.

As much as I love this lip gloss formula the Bare Minerals Lip Gloss in Far Out, is just such an unusual shade. It is like a super pale nude with a strong golden reflects. On the lips, this can kind of come across as metallic and I am not so sure if I like the look. This formula is perfect, it is just the colour, I am just not so sure whether I suit it.
I am going to keep trying it out and experiment with lipsticks underneath but I am just not so sure whether it is for me. We will see though, maybe you will see it in the next few makeup looks, who knows?

I use to love the Barry M Contour Kit at the start of 2017 back but when I pulled it out a few months back it just looked super muddy and patchy. I have no idea why this happened but I have been so scared to use it since. The two contour shades in this palette look good when swatched, but when I apply them with my bronzer brush it just comes off as super patchy. Nothing had changed with the way I applied it so it must be the powder.
I still have a little hope for this contour kit because at one point, it looked amazing on the skin but I just don't know what went wrong the last time I used it and I am just a little too scared to try it out again.
Onto a liquid highlighter which I was suppose to review, but my thought are so muddled I just didn't get around to writing it. The Makeup Revolution Liquid Highlighter in Liquid Bronze Glow has been hyped up about since the release but I just don't know how I feel. This shade is a little too dark for me but I bought it because I was so eager to try it and it was the only one left in stock. I have managed to make it work and so the colour is not my issue but the fact that the glitter in it is super chunky, I just don't know whether I can make it work. I have tried to wear this as a illuminator under foundation, mixed in with foundation and as a liquid highlighter and all three times it has just look too chunky. I really want to love this and so I am holding on to it, but I just need to figure out a way that's best to use it.
I think this has potential to be a beautiful liquid highlighter but it can look quite glittery on the skin but still, it has the most beautiful shift to it.

Another lip gloss I am on the fence about is the Stila Lip Glaze, these have mixed reviews and I can understand why. They are quite thick and when you apply too much it can be a little sticky but on the lips the finish is so beautiful. Some of the shades I do have, include a little glitter and some are just a colour. Both kinds of formula have a little bit of pigment but I just love the look of them on the lips. I am also not the biggest fan of the packaging, I hate that you have to twist up the product because sometimes you can twist up too much.
I am going to keep hold of these because I am so obsessed with this finish of it and some of the shades are so beautiful. If you have tried these out and you like them, then can you please tell me how you wear them because I would love to try out some other ways of pulling these off.

I have just noticed how many highlighters I have in this post but what can I say, I'm fussy. The LA Girl Strobe Lite Powder in 120 Watt is a bright white highlighter that I was so curious to try. I find that the formula is really metallic looking and pigmented but sometimes I find that it can be a little chunky and powdery. I just don't know how wearable this is, I have been  wearing it as a bit of a topper but I just wish that it wasn't so chunky.
I just really need to start using this some more, I don't know why but I don't get enough wear out of it. The shade is a little bold but I really like it once I have worn it, I just need to reach for it more.

So many people love the Nip N Fab Eye Shadow Palette but I just can't seem to make it work for me, but I really want it to because the shades are so beautiful. It seems like every neutral girls' dream but I find the formula to be so chalky. Majority of the shades are mattes, which I love, because I am such a matte girl but these just don't apply as nice as other matte shades I own in other palettes. They don't blend very well, they are not too pigmented and when I do wear them, they just look super patchy. As for the shimmer shades, they are just not as intense as what I would like, they lack pigment and a beautiful metallic finish.
I really want to love this palette but I can't seem to make it work. If you have this palette, I would love to know how you work with it but I just like so many other palettes more. I am so torn with this one but I don't know whether it is just not for me.
I hope you liked this post, it was something a little different for me but do let me know whether you love the products I have chosen to mention in this post.

Products In 2017 That Have Stolen My Heart

2017 was a huge year for me, there is no denying that but especially in the makeup world, I have widened my collection massively and I have tested and trialed quite a lot of products to say the least. You know how makeup is, you can either love it, like it or hate it and I have had my fair share of all of those outcomes but keeping it positive, I wanted to make this post all about the products I have tested this year and have really loved. There is a lot so expect to be sitting here reading this for a while. I hope you enjoy reading it though and please comment some products you have love throughout 2017.

I feel like the best way tackle this post is to do that makeup and in order, then skincare followed by a haircare product. 2017 was also filled with reviews on this blog and so if I have reviewed any of the products I have mentioned, I will link them.

I bought the Primark Primer Water after hearing a lot about it through Instagram but I didn't really expect a lot. Spray primers, to me, never seemed like they would actually do anything to the skin, not sure if I feel that way now because I genuinely feel like this does something to my skin. Anyway this primer was super cheap and I love it surprisingly. I use it almost every time I do my makeup and it just leaves me with a hydrated base that feels prepped and ready for a foundation. I wont lie, I don't tend to wear this on its own because it does give quite a dewy finish, which is nice, but I could do with some oil control around the t-zone, but I love having this extra layer on my skin just to add some hydration.
Another primer I had fallen for in 2017 was the Urban Decay Self Adjusting Complexion Primer (review), which was kindly gifted to me for my birthday. This primer has such an unusual texture but I was willing to give it a go as a lot of people seemed to have really gotten on with it. I talk about the texture of this primer a lot but it very much feels like an exfoliant with really fine pieces in it but then when you blend it into the skin those little beads just disappear into the skin. I also didn't really believe that this primer could adjust to the colour of your skin but now that I have tried it, I find that it just makes your skin look so smooth and airbrushed, it's crazy.

For foundation, I only have one, but it is my all time favourite which is huge for me because I could never find my perfect formula and I was constantly mixing to find a finish I liked. Anyways, this is the LA Girl Pro Coverage Foundation (review), which I know a lot of people love, and I have joined that party for sure. This foundation is just so flawless and full coverage but it looks like skin because of its dewy finish. I find that I do have to set this but only lightly because the glow this foundation gives is just so beautiful. The one this I will say about this foundation that I wish they would change is there lack of lighter shades. If you have read my latest haul, you will know that I bought this foundation in white which I think was a great addition but that is because they didn't have a shade that looked light enough for me for when I was really pale now. I guess I can't complain now thought because I have that white shade. I also love this foundation because my skin has quite a yellow base to it and I find it really hard to find foundations with the right undertone for me, but this one is perfect so if you have the same problem as me then you might love the shade range of this product.

I have a lot of concealer favourites which seem to be a recurring theme in my yearly favourites posts but that is just because I freaking love concealer. For my first concealer favourite I have the LA Girl Pro Conceal Concealer, this concealer was probably my favourite and most used throughout 2017 and rightly so because it is so amazing. Not only is it super affordable but it is so highlighting, pigmented and hydrating. This concealer has everything I could ever want in it, it just makes your under eyes look so bright and awake. If you have read some of my makeup looks this year as well, you may have noticed that I also have this concealer in a darker colour, which I love to contour with. Since this concealer is so pigmented and easy to blend, it is perfect for cream contouring. In case you are wondering about my shades, because I know that they are quite awkward to order online from, I use the shade Porcelain for under my eyes and Toast to contour with.

Another concealer I want to shoutout is the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer (review). From what I have tried from this concealer, I do really love it and that is why I wanted to mention it but the shade I still have is not right for me for when I am super pale so that is why I have not used it as much as what I would have liked this year. The concealer itself though, is so hydrating, the coverage is great again, but I just love the finish of this one, it is so dewy and just makes you look so luminous, it's stunning. I also love how light this one feels on the skin, it really is weightless.

The last concealer I am going to talk about is one I actually don't use to concealer with but to carve out my brows and prime my eyes with and that is the Hard Candy Glamoflauge Concealer. This concealer is so thick and full coverage but a little bit goes such a long way and if you distribute it properly it doesn't look caked but just looks flawless. I think I also love this concealer so much for the shade its in, which is Ivory, now this shade would be way too pale for my skin but on the eyes it looks amazing and gives such a natural highlight. I have also been known to mix it with either of the two previously mentioned concealers under the eyes just to give an extra brighter highlight. If you do manage to get your hands on this concealer, because I am pretty sure it is only sold in the US, then you are very lucky because I think it is so amazing. It blends so amazingly and the coverage you just can't beat. I also find that the best way to apply this is with a sponge because of how thick it is, you get the best finish with a damp sponge because that will prevent it from looking cakey. Even though this is not an eye primer, it was my favourite thing to prime my eyes with throughout 2017.

Onto more face products but these ones being in powder form. Loose powder, this year has been huge, with the whole baking trend taking off and being used by so many makeup artists now, a lot of people joined on the band wagon. The only loose powder that I have tried in 2017 that I have gotten along with was the RCMA No Colour Powder (review). This is one of the most popular powders I know of and rightly so as this powder is so finely milled and makes you just look so airbrushed and beautiful. I won't lie, if you bake with this and you leave it on too long, it can leave a white cast but if you wipe it all off properly it will look stunning. I just find that no other powder sets my concealer as good as this. I think this will be a makeup product I keep around for a long time.
For bronzer, I have played around and have tested a few but one that I have really loved is the Makeup Revolution Ultra Bronze Bronzer. This is super expensive and I sort of bought it, not expecting it to be amazing but just to see what I had to offer and turns out it was beautiful. I love this bronzer a lot because of the colour, it is so natural and perfect for a fairer completion, it just looks so flawless. This powder does look and apply beautifully onto the skin and even though I find I need to build up the colour, I don't mind doing that because it gives a really natural, skin-like finish.

Blush is something that I sort of just stick to what I know on. Realistically, it kind of scares me because some of them are just so pigmented that I end up looking like a clown, trust me, I have had quite a few of those moments but one that has not disappointed me this year is the Too Faced Sweethearts Blush in Candy Glow (review). This was actually my Christmas present off my two best friends last year and I love using it. I think that the colour is so beautiful and goes with every makeup look. Before this blusher though, I had only ever worn a matte blush because that is what I found to work best, but actually this blusher is super shimmer but not glittery as on the skin, it just looks like you have this natural glow within. I love this for super natural days when I just want to look a little luminous as it can act like a blusher and highlighter in one but I also wear it on some more full face days as a blush topper to just give my skin something extra that it was missing.

Onto highlight, a makeup release this year that I think the youtube beauty world were waiting for, NikkieTutorials released a highlighter. I knew I was going to love the Ofra X Nikkie Tutorials Everglow Highlighter (review) and I have been using it ever since my best friend got me it for my birthday. I love how you get three shades in the pan and I find that I always mix the two lightest shades. All of these shades are so metallic and look wet on the skin, definitely more for someone who loves to be seen from space but I love how it looks.

Another highlight that you might not have actually been expecting is an eye shadow but I am obsessed with it on the cheekbones. It is the Kiko Wet and Dry Eye Shadow in 208, this is the most beautiful pale gold shade and even though it makes a great eye shadow, it makes the perfect highlighter too. I find that the formula is so intense and metallic, and I love it. I would definitely recommend this shade for someone with a fair to medium skin tone who wants a blinding highlighter that is super affordable.
Onto a few eye products I have been loving and I won't lie, they are mainly eye shadows as for me, this year there have been so many amazing eye shadow singles and palettes that are going to be my favourites for a lifetime. I am going to do the palettes first as there have been quite a few I have discovered this year. As for drugstore palettes this year, there has been one stand out one that I can't believe no one talks about because it is amazing. I am talking about the MUA Fire Vixen 15 shade Eye Shadow Palette (review) which I have reviewed on my blog already and I have featured it in a lot of others posts. This palette has the most beautiful colour scheme of warm pinks, oranges and some really unique grey shades, something I have never seen before in the drugstore. As for the formula though, the mattes are nice, bendable, pigmented and creamy, and as for the shimmery shades they are like foiled eye shadows with an amazing shimmery, metallic finish. They are so creamy and apply beautifully, definitely a formula a want to see more of in the drugstore. I feel as though this palette is so underrated and it is one of my go-tos, perfect for all year round.

A palette I have used from the start all of the way until the year is the Morphe 35O Eye Shadow Palette (review). This was huge last year and it took me a while to get on the hype but now that I have, I am never going back. I love this palette because it is so affordable but the quality is super nice. What I love so much about this palette is the colour scheme, it is just so warm and beautiful. I definitely prefer the mattes in this palette, they blend seamlessly and I like the shimmers as they are so pigmented but some of them can be a little consistent.

As for my final palette I have to mention, it is probably one of my favourite products from the whole year and I am obviously talking about the Jaclyn Hill X Morphe Eye Shadow Palette (review). I have been following Jaclyn for ages on Youtube and when I found out she was release a palette, I knew I would love it because I trust her quality and loyalty to her followers, and she definitely did not disappoint. This palette has such an amazing range of shades and I think she nailed the formulas. This palette was so affordable and I know how much wear I am going to get out of this. I have been wearing this palette so much recently, and I have created so many looks with this palette and I will continue to do so as those bright blue shades are screaming my name for summer. I would recommend this palette to everyone as I think it would be perfect for any skin tone and any eye colour.
Onto the single eye shadows, and starting with the ones that kick started my love for single pan eye shadows and building my own custom palette. The Makeup Geek Single Eye Shadows (review) started it all for me. I got them for Christmas last year and since then, I have been playing around with them. The quality, range of colours, texture, blendability, I could go on, all of them are amazing. What makes these shadows so amazing is that the quality is so affordable for the amazing quality. Over the past year, I have been building up this collection and I have discovered the foiled shadows also which are the most metallic and pigmented shadows, and they are some of my go-to all over the lid shades. I can't recommend these shadows enough and I know that these will products I keep with me for the rest of my life, as they are my staples and I have found nothing that beats them.

As for more single eye shadows, ones I love also and have discovered this year are the Colourpop Single Eye Shadows (review). These were a new release this year and I knew I needed them, boldly, I picked up a few colourful shades for summer and I managed to create loads of fun looks with them. What I love about these shadows is how smooth, creamy and pigmented they are, they blend beautifully. I definitely think that they are another great single shadow on the market and I think that they offer some really unique shades, ones that you wouldn't find anywhere else.

Finally, for single eye shadows I have ones that you all know I love, the Freedom Single Eye Shadows (review). These you can get from Superdrug and they come in sets which are crazy affordable. I will say, these are not as good quality as the two previously mentioned but they are still good. Both the mattes and shimmers in these sets are very pigmented and blend really well. I love that Freedom have brought out products like this and I really hope that they expand there collection in 2018 because I think that they are really good and have so much potential. I also know that I will be using these even more in 2018 and I really hope that they get some more love.

As for what I put the single eye shadows in, the Freedom Pro Artist Refill Palette has been the best. I randomly found this on Superdrug and knew I needed it. I know Z Palette is the typical go-to magnetic palette, but I always thought that they were quite overpriced and so I was looking for alternatives. These palettes are crazy affordable and the quality is great, you get a mirror and they are really secure so your single shadows won't be getting broken. I have been storing my shadows in these all year and I can't recommend them enough.
For liner, I only have one that has stolen my heart this year. I have never been one for liquid liner and so kohl is always my go-to choice. My favourite black kohl liner is the Seventeen Eye Kohl Black Liner. I love how pigmented this liner is and it doesn't tug on my eye, I find that it wears for a long time and I always go back to it. I don't really know what else I can say about this liner but I like it and until I can find something that beats it, I will continue to use it.

Something I have not stopped talking about and something you are probably sick of is my favourite mascara of the year. As my old favourite was not cruelty free and that was a transition I had made this year, I went on a hunt to find my new favourite. Luckily, I found the Collection Volumax Waterproof Mascara (review) and previously reviewed it but as time went on, I found myself reaching for it more and more. I love that the applicator is really simple. I find that the formula is super black and this mascara makes my lashes so voluminous but still adds a little length. I will say, I don't use the primer side of the mascara as I find that I don't really need it but as for the mascara part, I can't get enough of it.

As for my final eye product, I have a product for my brow. The Freedom Duo Brow Powder in Soft Brown has probably been one of my most used brow products this year. Powder was never really my thing, I always thought that I made too much of a mess to be able to use it, but this powder is so light and easy to work with, I just really love it. I love that this powder is so easy to work with, and I like how it gives my brows a softer look rather than my pomade which could be a little harsh at times. I can't recommend this powder enough, the two shades makes it really easy to create an ombre brow which I find is the most natural look. Once I have set this powder with gel, it lasts all day and I really love how it looks. I definitely think that this product is going to continue to be well loved throughout 2018.
Moving onto the lip products of the year, my stand out lip liner has been the Misslyn Lip Liner in Rosewood. We all know I bought this for the name, but turns out it is a super beautiful universal nude, I find that the formula is pigmented, creamy but not so creamy that it bleeds, which I really like. I have found that I have been reaching for this lip liner over and over again throughout the whole year, and I guess you can tell that by how short the pencil is. Hopefully I might actually finish a lip liner in the new year and maybe even repurchase this one. I also might need to see if they have anymore shades because I am really impressed with the formula.

As for liquid lipsticks, I have a few I want to mention, the first one being one that really took me by surprise. The Jeffree Star Liquid Lipstick in I'm Nude has maybe been my most worn liquid lipstick of the year, I find that the shade is the perfect pale nude that goes with any look. As for the formula, it does dry down as super matte, but as long as you prep the lips with a little bit of lip balm, it won't dry them out. This shade does last a fair amount of time and when it does wear off, it doesn't go patchy which I appreciate. I do really like this shade and I will continue to use it as I have not yet found a pale nude lip that I love just as much.

We all know how much I love a good nude lip and so I have another one to share. While it is more on the higher end side, I really love the formula of this liquid lipstick. I did pick up the Too Faced Liquid Lipstick in Child Star (review) all the way back at the start of February but it was definitely a good purchase and it was my go-to spring/ summer lip this year. This shade is a warm, pinky/nude shade and the formula has such a hydrating, moussy texture to it which I really love. I find this lip to be so comfortable to wear and I just really love the colour too. Sadly, I don't think hat there are that many more shades in this formula that I would actually wear, which is a real shame because I really love this formula. I have been recommending this shade to everyone all year and I will continue to do so as I think it is a beautiful nude lip for anyone with a fair to medium complexion.
As for the final liquid lip, I have been obsessed with this recently and it's the Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip in Likely (review). I got a few of these for my birthday but this shade is definitely my most worn. This is the most beautiful deep, orangey nude and this goes with every look I do. We all know that I love a good warm eye look and so I always struggled to find a really warm lip to match the eyes but now I have this. I also love the formula of this liquid lipstick because it is not fully matte but it still lasts a really long time and is really comfortable to wear. In majority of my makeup looks where you see me wearing a really warm lip, it is pretty much always this.

Moving onto gloss, I have quite a few because this year I have just been a total gloss wearer. I have had my fair share of glosses to test this year and I have loved a lot of them but I have managed to simplify them to three glosses and they are all different. For my first gloss, it's the Too Faced Sweet Peach Oil Lip Gloss in Papa Don't Peach (review) and I love this because it is nothing like a sticky, typical gloss. Like it says in the name, it has this oily formula that is not super greasy or sticky but it just makes your lips look wet. I like wearing this on its own because it is quite pigmented for a gloss. In terms of this shade, it is a deep, orangey nude but the finish of it is something else. It almost feels hydrating on the lips and it is anything but uncomfortable. Gloss tend to be the first thing to wear off when you are wearing your makeup for a long time, and I won't lie, this doesn't last an extraordinary amount of time but when it does begin to wear it does not look weird and it doesn't clump up which can be the case sometimes. This is definitely more of a spring/summer lip pick from me but never the less, I love this product so much, and I almost forgot to mention, it smells amazing, it has a really strong sweet peach scent, as you could have guess, but it smells insane.

The Bare Minerals Gloss in Groovvy (review) has been my most newest gloss but I honestly love it so so much. This is probably the most standard gloss out of the three I have chosen to talk about. It misquote thick, very glossy and when you apply too much, a little sticky. It has a little bit of pigment, with this shade, it is just a pale pinky nude so it looks good on top of anything. How I wear this is in the centre of the lips blended out on top of a matte lipstick. I find that this gloss makes your lips look so plump and just super glossy, which I love the look of. The shade does lighten whatever you have underneath it just a little but by just applying it in the centre and blending it out, there are no harsh lines and it can also make your lips look a little bigger. This gloss does actually last a couple of hours and I think it is because it is quite thick but I don't find it uncomfortable, it is not the most lightweight but it doesn't make you want to scrape it off your lips. The applicator on this gloss is also really unique and easy to apply. It has quite a long doe foot applicator but it is not too bendy and not too stiff so you can really distribute the product nicely.

As for my final gloss, it is an oldie but a goodie, the NYX Butter Gloss in Fortune Cookie (review). This is the newest shade in my collection and it is just the perfect light nude shade. I find this formula not to be too pigmented so it never really tends to adjust the shade of what I am wearing underneath but I find this the most universal gloss in my collection. If I ever go travelling and just need one staple gloss, I take this because I know it works and it works well on its own or over a lipstick. The gloss formula is super lightweight and comfortable to wear, it has a nice natural glossy finish, it is not super wet looking it is more subtle but you can still tell it's there and it also comes in so many shades. I love that you can reapply this gloss over and over again and it won't look like too much or crazy patchy and uneven. I find that the applicator on this is too small for my liking but I can work with it because the formula of the gloss itself is so nice.

My final lip favourite sort of has its own category because I would call it an in-between of a lip balm and a lipstick. I reviewed the Collection Lip Colour in Fudge Delight (review) back in summer and I really loved it. I thought that it was the perfect everyday lip product and still to this day I think that. The shade is shockingly another nude shade but it is the formula that I really love. When you apply this, it feels like a lip balm, it feels lightweight and moisturising but while it does that, it gives off a little bit of colour and a nice glossy finish. I find that I always wear this lip with a really natural makeup look because it is versatile and just so pretty looking. I know they offer this in a few more shades but I just like the nude colour because it is perfect for an everyday use. This was the only lip product I wore when I was on holiday in Jamaica because it has a little spf, it is so hydrating but it also gives you a little bit of colour. I can't say enough good things about this product and I really think that everyone needs a product like this in their collection.

I have just realised how long this post is going to be, so if you have made it this far then I am impressed but I am also going to try and shorten what I say about each product a little more as I don't want to keep you here until it is 2019. But now that I have finished with all of the makeup favourites, I am going to more onto some skincare, body care and a hair care product just to complete the beauty favourites of 2017. I have a few skincare favourites to talk about the first one being the Primark Makeup Wipes which shouldn't come as a shock to you if you have been reading my posts for a while. I love these face wipes. They are the best, most affordable and cruelty free makeup wipes I have ever found. They are super basic but they do the job of helping to remove my makeup, cleaning off swatches or dirty makeup products and just generally being able to throw them in my handbag knowing that they work. These are super affordable, I think you can get fifty for £1 which is just unheard of. I have been through so many of these packets this year as I use them all the time and usually once a day. I can't recommend these enough.

As for moisturiser, there has been one that has stood out to me this year and that is the Soap and Glory Speed Plump Moisturizer. This moisturiser smells amazing for one, it has a really nice fruity scent but I love this so much because it is so hydrating but also leaves a super beautiful luminous finish. It doesn't make you look greasy but it gives you this glow within that just looks amazing with or without makeup on top. I haven't really noticed it to plump my skin massively but I don't think I would notice it, even if it did so I can't say too much on that but I just love how this makes my skin feel and I will definitely have to repurchase it because it is the best moisturiser I have found for my skin.

I have never really been one for eye cream but I bought the Superdrug Vitamin E Eye Cream to see whether it would help prevent my concealer from creasing and I have just loved using it this year. I think that other things have also played a part in my concealer not creasing but I don't think this eye cream did much harm either. This is quite a thick cream and I probably only use it once or twice a week because I don't want to weight down or clog my skin, but when I do use this, I just feel like my skin is that little bit more hydrated. It makes my under eyes feel really smooth and it is also really cooling when you apply it which makes me feel like it is giving my under eyes even more hydration. I have never tried any other eye cream so I have nothing else to compare it to, but I really like this one and I will continue to enjoy using it in 2018.

Another moisturiser I have to mention is the Superdrug Vitamin E Intense Moisture Cream, which I like to use as my night cream. This is thicker than my daily moisturiser but it is not as thick as the eye cream. I just really like this product because it is super simple and basic, it is not super scented and it just does the one job I need it to. I find that it makes my skin feel super soft and moisturised, it also is not super heavy to the point were it clogs up my pores and I can't feel it on my skin once it has sunken in which I love because then I can go to sleep peacefully without thinking that I have a face mask on. I have just really enjoyed using this product all year and sadly I am running out of it as I am writing this but I am sure I will repurchase it as I have found nothing I prefer just yet.

My final skincare product is the Tropic Mini Tamanu Balm which is a bit of a weird product to talk about because it is just like a multipurpose balm that you can use for all sorts of things. Most of the time, I use this on my scaring or spots that are healing and I just find that it doesn't mess with them but also speeds up the healing process, but you can also use it on the lips, on the body or just anything. I guess you could say it acts a little bit like coconut oil. I will say though, that I cannot stand the smell of this but once I have applied it and have let it settle not the skin, the scent disappears quickly after. I have used this balm a fair bit this year but it still manages to look untouched as you don't need a lot but I think it has been a really important product to have had on hand this year and I think a lot of people would like it so I wanted to give it a mention.

As for body care, there has not been a stand out formula that I have loved and wanted to mention apart from the Bilou Sweet Watermelon Foaming Body Wash. This, I love to shave my legs with because it is a foam body wash. The foam itself is very thick but it feels so moisturising and nourishing on the skin. This company does offer a bunch of scents and I will say, if you don't like the smell of watermelons, you will hate this as it is very potent and sweet but I just can't get enough of this. I don't really use this to wash my body with as I just find it a little too heavy and I have others to prefer but to shave with, this is perfect. It makes my skin feel so soft after I have used this and even as an in shower body lotion, this works great, not to mention that it is really fun to watch when it foams up.

Finally for hair care and the final product I will talk about in this post is the Dyson Hairdryer. This is a very expensive and luxurious buy but I needed to mention it because it has been one of the biggest stand out beauty products for me this year and I think it is a total game changer for the hair beauty game. This hair dryer is so powerful, you wouldn't believe. It use to take me about 20 minute to dry my hair as it is fairly thick but no joke, with this hair dryer it takes me 5-7 minutes maximum which is just insane. The other thing I love so much about this hairdryer and the main reason I think it is so good as a hairdryer is that it does not get super hot. I think we have all had that moment when we dry our hair the then take a sniff and it smells like you have been burning something, and it always really worried me whenever I blow dried my hair because I thought I was going to damage it massively. With this hairdryer though, it stays at a pleasant slightly hotter than room temperature, temperature which does not make my hair smell or feel burnt. You can also adjust the heat on this hairdryer which is really easy and you can also manipulate how powerful it is which I think is a great addition that Dyson added. I just really love this hairdryer and I can't recommend it enough and I know how expensive it is, but I really think that this is the sort of investment that is going to stay with me for the rest of my life and still work for me in 20 years time.
That was a lot of favourites, but I really hope you enjoyed reading and hopefully during 2018, I will discover some beauty products just as much as these. Happy New Year!
