Blogmas Day 4 - Candy Cane Cupcake Recipe

Hi everyone,
Today's post is (I think) the first recipe I have ever done o my blog!!! I don't know why I have never done one before but I am really proud of how these turned out. They are candy can cupcakes and this is a colab with Emily Rose. She has a great blog and is doing collabmas (go to her blog to find out more) which she has made a great start to. Ingredients: Makes 12 cupcakes
125g Self-raising flour
125g Caster sugar
125g Unsalted butter
2 eggs
2 Tablespoons of milk
a pinch of salt
Icing of your choice
2 Candy canes

1. Pre-heat oven to 190 degrees
2. Beat butter until softened
3. Mix all other ingredients
4. Spread mixture evenly between cupcake cases
5. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes checking at 10
6. Let the cakes cool
7. Once cooled, ice them with icing of your choice
8. Crush candy canes
9. Sprinkle over the top
