Spring essentials and bucket list

Hi everyone,
I am happy to say that this post is my first colab post with the beautiful xpastelxxprincessx. Her blog link will be at the end of the post so don't forget to follow her, I think you will love her blog just as much as I do. Today's post will be on my spring essentials and some ideas to do in the spring holiday.

I am going to start with my makeup essentials.
Eyes: I think the natural look will be a massive trend this year. My essentials are very simple and basic. The eye shadow palette I have chosen is the W7 In the Nude palette. This palette is a great dupe for the Naked 3. The shades in this palette are very pink-toned, perfect for spring.
To go underneath the eye shadow, the Maybelline colour tattoos are the perfect base. Mine are in the shades on and on bronze, and permanent taupe. The shade that I think will go well with the palette even more is the one in pink gold but I don't have that one "yet", I am sure I will get it soon.
Eyeliner wise,  I would recommend the MUA intense eyeliner in Snow white. I think instead of wearing the same old black eyeliner to branch out and go for a brighter colour. I am a bit scared of bright colours so I stayed with a white but I think it's nicer than black.
Since in spring the weather gets warmer, a waterproof mascara is a must. I love the maybelline the Colossal mascara. It deferentially works and it was my favorites last year and I will probably love it again this year.
Lips: I have two options for this a bright and a neutral. For neutral the Revlon lacquer balm in demur and the Tanya Burr lip gloss in Just Peachy make the perfect combo. For a brighter option the Maybelline baby lips from the electro collection are perfect. I would recommended the ones in the shades pink shock and strike a rose. They are very pigmented and nourishing.
Face: I only have one but it is a must for me. The Natural collection blush in peach melba completes the perfect look. It is pigmented but suttle. This blush gives your skin the perfect glow.
Nails: This spring I will be wearing a lot of pastels on my nails. The ones I would recommended are the Barry M gelly hi-shine nail paint in prickly pear, Topshop nail polish in lost for words, Barry M quick dry nail paint in pit stop and the Maybelline colour show nail polish in mauve kiss.
Moving onto body.
The body products I will be using are the NSPA clementine ones. I got all of these in a massive set from Asda and I cannot wait to try them out. They smell amazing. I will let you know how I get on with them.
Now my favorite spring accessorizes.
Last year floral headbands were very trendy and I never bought one but this year I bought one super early. The one I bought is from New Look and I found it on the sale rack. I have also got into jewelry very recently, and my two favorite necklaces at the moment are both very pretty. The silver leaf is from New Look and the rose gold rose is from a boutique by where I live.
Since spring is the season going into summer it's going to start getting more sunny outside so sunglasses are a must. My most recent pair are from Claire's and they are stunning. They were very inexpensive but are great quality.
Even though it will get sunnier it will still be chilly especially in England. This year to keep myself warm I will be wearing this gorgeous scarf from river island. I got this years ago but I am still in love with the print. It is so bohemian and edgy.
For clothes, an over-sized jumper is a must. My favorite one at the moment is from Victoria secret, it is very bright, and colorful and still keeps you warm when you get chilly. I have recently bought patterned joggers, from New Look, These look cute with a simple top, while being comfy and stylish at the same time. A staple that will look great with the patterned joggers are the boxy tops. I have two one from holister and one from Topshop, I have more but these are my most recent. Boxy tops are loose and very comfortable and you have many different options from the high streets.
To finish off, I am just going share ideas on what you could do while you are on spring holiday.
I would recommend making a Bucket List. Here are a couple of examples that I came up with.

  • Go swimming in the sea
  • Make homemade lemonade
  • Have a barbecue
  • Go camping
  • Go fishing
  • Have a picnic
  • Fly a kite
  • Feed the ducks
  • Go mini golfing
  • Have a Easter egg hunt
  • Have ago at planting a flower
  • Go hiking
I hope you enjoyed this Post and don't forget to follow xpastelxxprincessx her link is here. Let me know if you like these colab posts and comment something you are looking forward to about spring.

London series part 2: My experience

Hi everyone,
So recently I have been quit busy with school work and after school activities so I haven't been able to write another blog post. But today I am going to share with you my highlights from London 2015. If you haven't seen the first part of the London series I will link it here, it was a travel post.

Oxford Street:

Oxford street was our first main place. It was very overwhelming, but I managed to go to Topshop, Miss Selfridge and Victoria Secret. We went for our lunch at McDonald's and pretty much spent hours shopping.

Convent Garden:

Convent Garden is deferentially one of my favorite places in London. There are so many cute, little shops that you could spend your whole life in. It was nice to be in a quite surrounding, it was a bit crowded but very relaxed. I was really into the pictures people had taken and edited to sell but I didn't buy any, they were just really lovely to look at.

Wicked:

The reason my mum and I went to London was to go see Wicked. Everyone I know that's has gone to see Wicked raves about how good it was. Our seats were at the very top, right near the back which wasn't the best, but we still had a nice view. The whole concept of Wicked, I think is so creative and well thought out and the actors, singers and dancers were so talented. The whole show was magical. I would recommend anyone and everyone to go and see Wicked.

Hamelys:

If you don't know what Hamelys is, it's basically a massive toy shop that is like 5 levels. I might be 12 but I got so excited when I saw all the teddy bears, dolls and games I couldn't hold it in. I didn't buy anything but it was lovely to go in there.

Madame Tussauds:

I loved Madame Tussauds. If you don't know what it is, it is a building filled with wax figures of famous celebrities. I like to keep my identity anonymous so I don't have many pictures of just the wax figures. My favorite figure was deferentially Michael Jackson. There weren't just wax figures, they also had different attractions, like a ride on the history of London, 4d marvel movie and a horror one which was very scary. If you ever go to London, I would highly recommend you go to Madame Tussauds.

Tour bus:

Since it was my first time in London, and I only had a day and a half there I wanted to see as many attractions as possible. The tour bus was great we got to spend as long or as little as you wanted on there. They would stop off near popular places, they also gave you headphones which you could plug into your chair and listen to someone tell you about all the main places in London in a lot detail.

I hope you enjoyed this Blog post and let me know your London experiences in the comments. I'm sorry I have been a bit behind on posts recently but I have got a lot planned for the future.

London Series Part 1: Travelling essentials

Hi everyone,
So in case you didn't know I am going to London. I am 12 years old and it is my first time and I am so excited. By the time your reading this I will be back from London. Me and my mum went together and I thought it would be good if I share my experience with you so I will be posting 2 more blog posts as part of my London series. One will be like a journey post, when I share all the places I went to and the final one will be a haul of everything I bought while I was in London. I only went from Saturday morning to Sunday evening since I had school but we went to lots of places.
This post is going to be about my travelling essentials. I hope you enjoy this post and leave a comment telling me you must-have essentials.

I keep all my essentials in a backpack. It's just a standard black one from new look which I don't have a picture of but the links here.

I will start off with whats in my toiletries bag. This bag is amazing its from and it cost only £4. It has 3 compartments.

In the top one I keep all my makeup brushes and accessories in. I have loads of different brushes like primark and just random ones.
The middle compartment has velcro so you can just take that section if you need to.
The makeup I took with me was..

Face-Mua pro-base primer
2 collection lasting perfection concealers
Mua pressed powder
Eyes- Maybelline colour tattoo
Sleek eye shadow palette
Mua eyeliner
clear mascara
Manhattan mascara
Lips-Mua Lip balm
The body shop lip balm
Maybelline baby lips
soap and glory lip gloss
NYC lip plumper
In my last sections I keep my skincare and body products. I tried to take my samples or convert some of the product into a smaller container.
Skincare- The body shop cleansing butter sample
Simple makeup wipes
Spot zapping gel
Garnier intense care moisturizer (use as a moisturizer or a body butter).
Body- The body shop shower gel.
I brought a little bag in case I didn't need to bring my backpack and in that I kept my basic essentials like...
 2 hair brushes
Container with hair accessories in
Pocket mirror
Batiste Dry Shampoo
EOS
Plasters
Body spray
Dental stuff (for my braces)
Tissues
Moving onto the things I would do on the train.
I decided to bring two books that I could read on the train and they are both written by youtubers. The first one is Love Tanya and the other one is The Pointless Book. I really do love both of these books.
I then brought some homework and in this picture was my physics homework.
Then I just brought an empty notebook that I could write down any ideas or notes.
To go with the notebook I just took a case with some different colored pens and just standard stationary.

I also brought my laptop but I did carry that in my main case.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post and I will have another post going up on the weekend about my experience in London.
