June Favorites

Hi everyone,
So I just wanted to mention a few things before I actually start telling you my favorites. You might be able to tell that I have a different background for my pictures, this is because I have had my room redone and I now have baby blue walls. At the moment I have been experimenting with a few new background blog post pictures so I apologies in advanced for some mixed images in the next few blog posts. Also where I take my pictures on this basket/thing it has changed it's place so the lighting is a bit dodgy so I am sorry for the over-edited photos but I will get back to my better quality soon. Now moving onto the actual post, I have really enjoyed the month June as the weather is nicer and it is the month before my birthday (which excites me a lot).

Makeup
Collection Bronze Glow in Matte// This bronzer is super inexpensive and really good for quality. I do tan really easily and this goes a lot better with a tan as it can look quite orange, so I would not recommend this if you are fair. I have just been using this to add a bit of colour to my face, in an effortless way.

Maybelline The Colossal Go Extreme Volume Waterproof mascara// I love this so much ! This is the only waterproof mascara so I don't have anything to compare it to but I don't want to try any other ones. This works !! I have lots of friends that complain about there mascara coming off in water and I have tested this and it doesn't budge. Although it's a pain to get off I can't fault this.

MUA Pro Base Primer// I mentioned this earlier this year and I am still loving it. It is crazy cheap and it does the job. I have also noticed this makes my skin look a lot brighter and my makeup a lot more dewy.

Hair
L'Oreal Elvive Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner// As you may be able to tell the shampoo is slightly different to the conditioner as it has extraordinary oil featured in the product and I do love that conditioner, I just didn't have it at the time, but I love the original one just as much. These have just been really working for my hair. They make it feel so soft and healthy. It also has great benefits for the hair, I would highly recommend this.

Batiste Floral Dry Shampoo// I use to love the Colab one and I still do but I recently pulled this out of my hair draw and fallen back in love with it. It is just so good at absorbing all the oil but the only thing I don't like is the white residue. Putting that aside it is amazing.

Skincare/Bodycare
Simple Kind to Skin Moisturizing Facial Wash// I use this every morning and night (when I on't wear makeup) and it just does a really great job of cleaning and cleansing the face. It is also really inexpensive so a great bonus.

Love Forever perfume in Pink Cookie// Honestly, I am not that girl that wears perfume everyday but recently I have noticed how many perfumes I have and I just want to use them all now. This is the one I have currently been using and it just has a very light and simple scent.

Fashion
Primark Purse// I bought this at the end of May and I use this every time I go out. I wanted a purse that held cards, change and notes all in separate but one compartment (if you know what I mean), This does exactly that and it only cost £4.00 which was a bargain. This can also hold your phone in there, which does come in handy. I don't use this for school as it's too big, but for every other occasion I use it. I also really love the colour.

Random
Going on a Jog// This may be a little to random but I really have been enjoying running with my dogs. In case you didn't know I have two dogs and when I have to walk them, to me, it's the perfect time to get some exercise. Since I am getting ready for summer by getting into shape, jogging has really helped.

Music
Current songs I have been loving...
Black Magic - Little Mix
Hey Mama - Nicki Manaj and David Guetta
Five More Hours - Chris Brown
Sweet Dreams - James Arthur
Talking Body - Tove Lo
Worth It - Fifth Harmony
Get Stupid - Aston Merrygold
Pretty Girls - Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea

TV
Recently I have been watching a lot more films and my favorite to watch are..
Footloose
Step up 5
Street dance 2
and if your wondering why they are all dance related it's because I am a dancer and films like this just really inspire me.

If you saw my last post you know I am now holding a follower o the week on my insta and this weeks winners are...

Summer Q&A

Hi everyone,
So today's blog post is going to be my first Q&A. I really want to start making this a more often thing, so let me know if you like them. I asked my questions on instagram, so go follow me if you want to ask a question or comment on this blog post.

1. If you had to get rid of one makeup product what would it be? @thepastelari
It would have to be my Revlon lip butter in Peach parfait, just because it is not a flattering colour and I'm not a bit fan of all the shimmer.

2. Favorite makeup brand? @floralfe
This is hard! I like a lot of different brands for different products, but the brand that stands out in my collection, the most will have to be Rimmel.

3. Favorite nail colour? @allthingsbeauty.andlife
It often depends on season, in summer I love pastels and neons and in winter I love nudes and darks.

4. Top 3 makeup brands? @frankie_kel
Maybellie, Rimmel and Revlon.

5. If you could only use one makeup product for one year what would it be and why? @pastxlwishes
It would have to be lip balm wouldn't it? Like I can't go one day never mind a whole year without lip balm.

6. If you could only have one type of each makeup item what would it be? @sassy_tumbl.r
As you know I don't wear foundation, so starting with concealer.
Concealer - Collection lasting perfection
Powder - Rimmel clear complexion
Bronzer - Collection bronze glow
Blush - Natural collection powder blush in peach melba
Eye shadow - Sleek au natural palette
Cream eye shadow - Maybelline colour tattoos
Eye liner - Mua intense colour
Mascara - Benefit roller lash
Lip balm - Nivea essential care
Lip stick - Revlon lacquer balm in Demur
Lip gloss - Soap and Glory sexy mother pucker in punch bowl

7. If you had three wishes what would they be? @emsirose
- More wishes (does this count?)
- Ability to transport places
- Ability to change ages

8. What is your favorite TV series? @flxral_girl
It has to be PLL. Honestly who doesn't love that show? Comment were you are up to in PLL, if you watch it.

So as you know if you follow my instagram that I am starting something called follower of the week. I will link the post with all the details on now! But the first ever winner is Emsirose. Congrats, she has such a lovely instagram and I recommend you all go and follower her. Her link is here. And just in case you don't follow me my insta is here.

I am sorry if this post was a little short but I still hope you enjoyed. Another congrats to Emsirose for winning follower of the week, and don't forget there will be a new follower of the week next Sunday, so stay active. If you enjoyed this Q&A then leave some more questions in the comments and I might do another one.

High Street Jewelery

Hi Everyone,
So today's blog post is going to be something a little different. I am going to share with you my favorite pieces of high street jewelry for spring.

Primark
Now everyone loves Primark for different reasons, clothes, beauty, home, they pretty much have something for everyone. I have never been one to go straight into primark and head straight for the jewelry, but when I do it never disappoints. I love Primark's statement necklaces, as you can see in the second picture I have 2. Both of them were £3-£5 which is so inexpensive and your probably thinking that they are really bad quality but they are not. They feel and look expensive and they don't break easily. These pieces are great for a party to pair with a plain top.
Another thing I really like from Primark are the dainty bracelets, these were a gift so I don't know how much they are but they wouldn't have been expensive. I love wearing these as an everyday accessory, they are really cute and just go with everything.

Claire's
When I was a kid I was obsessed with Claire's but as I got older I just stared to hate it until I got a voucher from my auntie, so I just thought I would give it a go. When I went it all jewelry was on 3 for 2, I had enough of everything but I was attracted to the rings. They looked very original and wearable. As you can see in the third photo they are all different, my favorite is the bottom one. They were very inexpensive and they remind me of some I found in Topshop for a lot more.

New Look
Again, like I said about Primark I usually go into New Look for clothes not for jewelry but they never disappoint when I comes to jewelry. I love the dainty necklaces from New Look, they are inexpensive, good quality and they have lots of unique designs. As you can see in the bottom picture they are all small but very wearable. The two silver ones were gifts and the gold one was only £4.99 I think. These are just great for everyday and I would highly recommend them.

So I hope you enjoyed this blog post, and let me know whether you want me to do more jewelry related blog posts.

May Favorites

Hi everyone,
Even though this will be a little late, I still thought, I better post a May favorites as I want this to be a monthly thing.

Makeup
Revlon Lash Potion Mascara// This mascara was a recent purchase of mine, as you might have seen in my spring beauty haul. I bought this when it was on offer and I'm so happy I did. The formula is so long lasting and gives great length and volume, this paired with my primark eyelash curlers is the perfect combo. The only thing I don't like, is the fact I bought it in the wrong colour (Typical Grace) I got it in dark brown, but I guess it makes them look more natural but I do prefer black lashes. Apart from that I would highly recommend this.

Nivea Essential Care Lip Balm// I forgot about how much I loved this. I use to own one, but I had actually used it all and I grabbed a new one out of a gift set I was meant to giveaway (Oops) and I am obsessed again. I get very dry lips easily and as soon as I apply this, my lips are healed. It is a thick formula but on the lips it feels light-weight. This is now an necessity for me.

Home Bargains Makeup Sponge// I know what your all thinking that I am crazy cheap and it is awful but trust me you will never know unless you try. This was 99p and I thought it looked like a great alternative from the beauty blender. I have been using this since about February and I am never going back to brushes. As you can probably tell, it is very dirty, it's because I love it so much. It gives a lot more of a natural effect and just helps blend my concealer so easily.

Hair
Home Bargains Easy Tease// Again this is from Home Bargains and it is also really good. This was £1.99 and is such a good dupe for the tangle teaser. This hairbrush can get rid of any knot without hurting, it is just such a good brush. For £1.99 it couldn't be any better. It is also the perfect size for your handbag, school bag or even when you travel.

Skincare/Body care
Simple kind to skin face wipes// These are just an essential, for a lazy skincare day of removing swatches. These have just always been my favorite.

Garnier intense care moisturizer// I love this so much, I use this as a night cream. It is very thin but still hydrating. It can also be used as a body lotion or a hand cream, this is a great three in one product.

Dirty works body wash// I have loved this so much it is actually empty. It is such a fresh scent and is perfect for spring. It is a gelly consistency and a little bit goes along way. It lathers up really nicely and is long lasting on the skin. It also makes your skin feel so soft.

Fashion
Adidas black tracksuit jacket// This was a recent purchase of mine and I haven't stopped wearing it. It is so comfortable, but still looks fashionable and it goes with everything.

Random
Pop tarts// I have been loving the strawberry ones for breakfast. I know, not the most healthiest but they are so quick and easy.

Music
Time of our lives, Pitbull, Ne-Yo// I have just had this song on replay, I don't think I could ever get sick of it.

TV
Only Life To Live// I have been watching this on youtube and it is just so good. I love the story line and I would highly recommend it.

So I hope you enjoyed this favorites, leave a comment below telling me what you have loved through May.
