July Favorites

Hi everyone,
So as you can tell by the title, today's blog post is going to be my monthly favorites. July has honestly been my favorite month so far this year and I am still so excited for some more sun.

Makeup
Real Techniques Makeup Brushes// As you may know I got these for my birthday and ever since I have been obsessed. I got the core collection for my birthday and I bought myself the expert face brush. My favorites have been... (From left to right on first picture)
- Buffing Brush
- Contour Brush
- Expert Face Brush

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation// If you follow my instagram you will know that I have had two dance shows in July and this foundation was my rescue. I don't wear foundation on a day to day basis but on special events this is my favorite to use. It just does so much but looks so natural and dewy.

MUA Prime and Conceal Palette// I bought this near the beginning of July and I have just fallen in love with it. I love the concept of having 4 different colored pigments to help counteract each problem that could possibly be on your face. I would really recommend this for any beginner.

MUA Lip liner in Red Drama// Again I don't wear lip liner every day (especially not red!) but again this was a necessity for my show. The pigmentation, staying power and price, you just can't go wrong. This was £1 and I need to go back and get some more everyday shades.

Skincare/ Body care
Montagne Jeunesse face masks// I have been obsessed with these. They are so affordable and are just great for a pamper night. This brand just works great with my skin. My favorite face masks are the mud ones, I am using the chocolate one at the moment.

Zoella Scrubbing me softly body scrub// I got this, again, for my birthday and I am in love with it. It is quite harsh but I only use this once maybe twice a week and I will have to repurchase it.

The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Body Butter// I have three body butters from the Body Shop but they are all different formulas and this is my favorite by far. This is only a mini but I need the full size because it is honestly just amazing.

Garneir Micellar Cleansing Water// This was 99p from home bargains, and since I really wanted to try it I bought the mini. everyone raves about this and I have to agree, it is a great makeup remover. I have nothing to compare it to as this is the first micellar water I have ever tried but I need more. Will deferentially need the full size.

Neutrogena hand cream// This has been a new discovery of mine as I had ran out of all my hand creams, so this was the first one I found that I was intrigued in. I wasn't expecting big things but WOW! this is great. It is very thick as it is medicated but every time I use this my hands just feel so soft.

Fashion
Michael Kors watch// I got this as a joint birthday and doing well in my exams present and I am honestly so grateful I was bought this. I have worn this every day possible and I have had so many complements on it. I am just so in love with it.

Joma Jewelry Bracelet// For my birthday my best friend got me this bracelet and I am in love with it. I don't know if you can see by the picture but it is a little tree and silver. I have worn this non-stop since I got it. It goes with everything and just looks so cute.

Random
Soother// I actually lost my voice a few days before my birthday and for about a week I had a rusty voice, but I am all better now. Soothers were recommended to me for my throat and I am not saying they helped but I even eat them now as I have been that person that always has a sore throat. The blackcurrant are deferentially my favorite.

Music
I will actually be doing a separate blog post on my summer playlist but my most recent favorites have been...
Love Me So - Stereo Kick
Chain - Nick Jonas
Do What You Like - Taio Cruz
I Don't Like It, I Love It - Flo Rida
Poison - Rita Ora
Shine - Years and Years
Waiting For Love - Avicii
The Way We Are - Alesha Dixon
We All Want The Same Thing - Rixton

TV
Love Island// This month I have just been addicted to this show. It was on ITV and ran for six weeks. I managed to catch up a few weeks after it started and I have just fallen in love with each person in their. I can't even recommend you this program enough. It is not scripted but if you like shows like Gordie shore and TOWIE, you would love this.

People
Jake Boys and Emily-Victoria Canham // I have discovered both very recently but I just can't get enough of both their vlogs and main channel videos. They are honestly relationship goals and I feel like I know them even when I don't. If you ever need cheering up just watch both of their daily vlogs.

Years and Years// In case you didn't know I went to Radio City Live in Liverpool in July and Years and Years were performing. I liked a few of their songs but as soon as they came on stage I just felt and immediate connection. The lead singer Olly Alexander, looked so adorable on stage in a over-sized jumper and ice blonde hair and they sang three songs which were my three favorites. Now I am just going to buy all of their albums.

I hope you enjoyed this post. Leave a comment telling me any blog post ideas you have for the summer and hopefully I will try and upload more than once a week.

New Zoella Range Review

Hi everyone,
Now your probably wondering that today is not the day I usually upload on and to answer your questions yes there will be another blog post going up tomorrow, this is just a cheeky colab post.
As I just mentioned, this post is a colab post, this is a colab with one of my good friends Emily. Me and Emily have both tried out every product from Zoe's range. She will be doing half on her blog and the other half is what your reading right now. Emily's blog will be linked at the end of this post.
Just to start off saying that, I love Zoella as a person, I am reviewing these products as the product not who made them. So I am going to be completely honest and in no way am I trying to offend Zoe.

Scrubbing me softly, Body scrub // £7.00
This has to be one of my favorite products from the range. This is a sugar scrub which are my favorite types. This has a very fresh, slightly fruit scent. Honestly, it wasn't as powerful as I would have liked but it is still a great product. I use this in the bath and shower and it is such a great luxury. After using this I see my skin being a lot bright, healthy looking and smoother. The price is pretty reasonable for the amount you get but I will have to repurchase this.

Fresh fizz, Bath fizzer // £5.00
To be honest I am not a bath person, I much prefer showers. When I do have baths these are my favorite things to use. Again it has the same scent but still not strong. They make a loud fizzing noise and they make the water go misty, which I do like. The scent isn't strong in the bath nor when you get out but I still don't mind that. I wouldn't repurchase it but I do enjoy them.

Coin Purse/ makeup bag // £6.00
I really love this, I store my everyday makeup or my school essentials in this. It is such great quality and the prints are super cute on the front. The only down side is that it is a little over priced.

Foam sweet foam, Shower gel // £3.50
This is really cute in the packaging. The scent is still the same as all the rest of the range but it does get stronger when you use it in the shower. It lathers up nicely but not as well as others. I probably wouldn't repurchase it again as I have ones I prefer for less money.

So I hope you enjoyed this quick little blog post be sure to check out Emily's Blog here

13th Birthday Haul

Hi everyone,
In case you didn't know my birthday was last Friday (10th July). I asked on my instagram if you wanted to see a haul, and everyone said yes so that is what I am going to do. I would just like to start by saying a massive thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday or anyone who bought me anything as I am very grateful. This has honestly been one of the best birthdays I have ever had.
Massive disclaimer : Before I show you what I got I just want to say that I am not trying to brag or boast in the slightest. I am extremely grateful for anyone who bought me anything, and I o understand that is a lot but I didn't ask for any of this as it was a big surprise. Now lets begin.

So I am basically going to go in the order of getting them.

On my birthday morning I only got presents off my brother, granddad, brother's girlfriend and my friends because my parents work of a morning and they wanted to be there when I open my presents of them.
First my granddad gave me a card, some money and a really cute teddy bear with a 13 necklace around it's neck.
Then my brother got me a Outfit voucher and some products from the bran new Zoella range. He got me the
- Shower cream
- Body scrub
- Body spray
- Bath fizzer
- Lip balm
- Makeup bag
I am aware that he got me the whole range apart from one product and I am hopefully going to be doing a first impressions very soon.
My brother's girlfriend then gave me some little goodies (2nd picture right hand side). I didn't see her but my brother gave me it off her, if that makes sense. So she got me
- 3 glittery pencils (orange,green and purple)
- Chocolate scented ruber
- Lip gloss in the shade NO 3
- The Body Shop Mini pink grapefruit body butter

Moving on to what my friends at school got me. My friend Olivia got me
- Zoella Soak opera
- Zoella body lotion (newest range)
This wasn't planned but it was very coincidental that the only product I was missing was the body lotion and Olivia got me it. She also got me chocolate but there isn't a lot of it left (oops).
My other friend Penny got me the core collection from real techniques, again she also got me chocolate.
My friend from dance called Gemma got me a card and some chocolate which she got me Thursday night as that is the only time I see her.

After I came home from school my parents still were not home but my brother was there and in the living room there was a black and white zebra print stiletto shoe. It also had a balloon with 13 on it attached. The imaged I used was off eBay but they are identical.
Once they came in they convinced me that they were my only presents but right before my dinner my mum brought out a massive bag fill with presents. They got me..
- Next letter pillow (with G as the letter)
- Next 3 fake books
- Next 3 led candles
- Next diffuser (scent New York)
- Nike Personalized huaraches (with my name on the back)
- Fashion designing notebook
- Faber-Castell drawing set
- Metallic coloring pencils
- Topshop white tee with detail around waist and sleeves
- Dorothy Perkins three quarter white jeans
- Miss selfridge denim shorts with embroidery detailing
- Nike reversible jacket
- Next denim jacket

So I hope you enjoyed this and as I said before I am very grateful for all of this. I also went shopping today so let me know if you want to see another haul or if you have other requests.

July Empties

Hi Everyone,
So today I thought I would share with you some products I have used up. I hope you enjoy and stay tuned till the end and find out who was follower of the week. I am going to go from left to right with the products.

So...? kiss me perfume
Opinion: I really like the scent of this, it is very feminine and girly. I would really recommend this.
Rate out of ten: I think I would give it a 7/10 just because there are others I do prefer.
Would I repurchase it? Probably not but it was nice to try.

Insette extra hold hairspray
Opinion: It was really nice to try and it did do the job but I didn't like that after part. It made my hair feel really crunchy.
Rate out of ten: 6/10 because it did hold really well but I feel like it damaged my hair.
Would I repurchase it? Since it is very inexpensive probably but I would rather try a few more different ones out.

Batiste dry shampoo
Opinion: This is my all time favorite dry shampoo. The formula is great and I can't fault it.
Rate out of ten: I is 100% a 10/10 because it just works with my hair so well.
Would I repurchase it? Deferentially I just need to remember.

Dirty Works body butter
Opinion: I really love the formula of this. It is very nourishing but absorbs in a reasonable amount of time. It is also really inexpensive and I love the smell.
Rate out of ten: 9/10 because it does everything I need but I do have ones I prefer more.
Would I repurchase it? Not at the moment just because I have so many I need to use up but I think I will deferentially come back to it.

Dirty Works body wash
Opinion: This does exactly what it states, it is really affordable, lathers really well and smells great.
Rate out of ten: 8/10 because it ran out really quickly and wasn't long lasting.
Would I repurchase it? Yes but again I have so many I need to use up.

Lynx deodorant
Opinion: I love this a lot, it does the job.
Rate out of ten: 8/10 because I have found one that is even better.
Would I repurchase it? Possibly but I now have ones I prefer.

Mandara Spa body cream
Opinion: This is very relaxing but it isn't my favorite scent.
Rate out of ten: it has to be a 6/10 because I just used it to just get rid of it.
Would I repurchase it? No because I would rather have a different scent but it was nice to try.

EOS blueberry
Opinion: I love the formula and I can't believe I actually finished one.
Rate out of ten: 9/10 because I do prefer thicker lip balms.
Would I repurchase it? Yes I just have 3 more EOS to get through.

Nivea essential care lip balm
Opinion: This is my holy grail lip product, I honestly can't fault it.
Rate out of ten: 10/10 It is honestly perfection.
Would I repurchase it? Yes, I already have.

Colab dry shampoo
Opinion: I do prefer batiste but it is really nice.
Rate out of ten: 7/10, great formula but batiste is better, personally.
Would I repurchase it? Yes but not at the moment.

Marks and Spencer's body butter
Opinion: I really enjoyed this because it was a gift, but the scent wasn't very long lasting.
Rate out of ten: 6/10 because it was really good but I prefer others.
Would I repurchase it? No because I would rather buy others but it was nice to try.

Garnier intense care cream
Opinion: I use this every night as a night cream and I love it.
Rate out of ten: 10/10 it is just amazing.
Would I repurchase it? Yes, I already have and I don't think I will stop.

So I hope you enjoyed a bit more of a different post and I will speak to you soon but this weeks follower of the week is @charemily_, she honestly has such a flawless account and I think you should all go and follower her right now!
