January Favorites!

Hi everyone,
As another month goes by a favorites comes. It feels like forever since I last did a monthly favorites but I hope you enjoy and don't forget to comment what you have loved throughout January.

Makeup:
Seventeen Stay Time Concealer - This is my favorite spot concealer, the coverage is great and it lasts ages. It's also super inexpensive and I find that it goes really nicely under or on top of my foundation.
Urban Decay Optical Blurring Brush - I actually got this for Christmas and I was not expecting it. This is great for blending concealer or foundation, it gives great coverage and I find that it makes my makeup look so much better than with any other brush.
Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker in Rose and Shine - You would have probably seen this in my recent post (linked here) but I still love it. I find it makes my lips look super glossy and moisturized. I have also had a lot of complements when I wear this.
Benefits They're Real Mascara - My two best friends bought me this for Christmas (Thank you Penny and Ella!) and I have been obsessed with it since receiving it. I holds a curl amazingly and it gives me so much length and volume. Definitely worth the hype!
Freedom Pro Highlight in Glow - If you remember in November time, I did a review on Freedom Makeup and I was saying how much I didn't like it, well I now LOVE IT!! Recently I had a dance show and I wanted a super intense makeup look and I found this in the back of my make draw and decided to use it. I found that it lasted the whole 12+ hours and it looked just flawless. This will be a lot more loved now!

Body care/ Skincare:
Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish - Just a few days ago I actually run out of this and honestly I was so sad. I loved this so much and I need to repurchase one ASAP! I found it to me super moisturizing and it removed my makeup so easily and quickly.
Soap and Glory The Righteous Butter - I have really been reaching for this a lot this month and I find that it makes my skin feel so amazing afterwards. The smells is also to die for, it is the typical Soap and Glory scent which I just love.

Hair care:
GHD - So basically, as I was looking over my pictures for this post, I soon realized that I forgot to take a picture of my GHD's so I do apologize for that, but I still love them just as much as everything else. I kindly received my GHD straighteners for Christmas and I have really been loving them. They straighten my hair so quickly and I find that the straight-ness lasts a lot longer then what they use to. I do think they are worth the investment and I think paired with the GHD heat protect spray, it's the perfect combo.

Fashion:
Timberland's - These are honestly a must have for the winter I think. They are super comfy and they go with everything. Honestly, I don't think I have worn any other shoes this month.
Tiffany Bracelet - This is such a simple and classy piece of jewelry, I find that it looks super girly and I just love the touch of blue as a pop of colour. I know that they are very expensive but I think it is such a luxurious piece to own and I feel very lucky that I have it.

Random:
Primark Drinking Cup - This month I have been trying to drink a lot more water and this has certainly helped. I find myself drinking water out of this around three to four times a day as well as drinking during school too. I think it is super beautiful and the quote on it is very motivational.

Music/ TV
Charlie Puth One Track Mind Album - I am obsessed guys! I love love love his music. My favorite songs are My Gospel, Left right left, suffer and one call away.
Gossip Girl - I know I am a bit late on the band wagon but I am addicted to this series. I never want it to end and can we just appreciate how amazing Ed Westwick is though! *insert round of applause*

I really hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know some spring post ideas you want to see from me and I will be sure to do them for you! Have a great day!

The Best Lip Glosses

Hi everyone,
Now is it just me, or does everyone forget about lip gloss. Ever since getting into makeup, I seem to have accumulated lots and lots of lip glosses. When it comes out to wearing each one, I am usually very dissapointed as they don't last, don't look good or are too sticky. Today I am going to make your life a little easier buy suggesting some of the best lip glosses I have ever tried. I am not saying that all of these will work for everyone, but I live by these glosses and use them daily. Let's start!
The only high end gloss I have in this post is the Artdeco Hydro Lip Booster. The reason being is because I feel like there is no point in buying an expensive gloss if the drugstore sell others for way cheaper. Saying that I picked up the Artdeco gloss on an offer while I was in Germany but the UK do sell them (on Debenhams). These are a very thin formula, and they don't give off a lot of colour. They are meant to be super glossy (which they are) and they are also not sticky. The staying power is very good, it could last for a few hours before completely disappearing. Overall, these are super lovely and would recommend if you are looking for a high end gloss.

Now onto drugstore gloss, the Soap and Glory sexy mother pucker gloss are very popular and I can see why. This formula is probably the thickest but the gloss does only give a little tint of colour. I think this is the most different to the other glosses as this is more of a plumper. A few seconds after applying this to your lips, you would start to feel a very strong tingle in your lips. This plumps them and makes the that little bit bigger. Eventually it does wear of but if you like the way that feels, these glosses are super good for that. The staying power again, is very good and could last for a good few hours. This is usually my favorite one to wear for school as it makes your lips look lovely and plump. Only problem with this gloss slightly, is because it's so thick, it can be very sticky so I would advise you have your hair out of your face!

Tanya Burr Lip Glosses, again, very hyped up about. I don't have any in the new packaging but the formulas didn't change so my opinions would change. I find these glosses to be more pigmented than the other two and they have a bit of a shimmer to them. The glosses are very thin and don't last as long as the others, but I think if it is only for a short amount of time these would be lovely. A positive of these is that I don't find them to be sticky.

Final gloss I am going to share with you is from NYX. The NYX butter gloss have been overly hyped up about for the past year or so, and I can see why. I think the product has a very unique concept and formula. What I find amazing by this gloss is that it is almost not a gloss. It is so buttery it feels nothing like a gloss but still is. The colour pay off is super nice but isn't overly pigmented, and the staying power is longer than the average. If I have to suggest you buy one gloss from this post, it would be this one. I know they are not the easiest to get hold of but it is worth every penny!

I hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know whether you like these sort of posts. Have a great day!

The Best of The Eye Bases

Hi everyone,
I know I'm not the only one when I say that my eye shadow will always come off by the end of the day. Am I right? I struggle so much with keeping my eye shadow looking on point all day. If you are like me, then I hope this post helps you. Since discovering the products above, my eye shadow has lasted so much longer. Enjoy!

A product that almost every beauty blogger owns is the Maybelline Colour Tattoos. They came out a while ago but still manage to impress. A range of neutral and bright shades are in this formula. Me being the very natural person I am, I have the shades on and on bronze and permanent taupe. Both are super wearable, on and on bronze has a shimmer to it, whereas permanent taupe is a matte shade. The Maybelline colour tattoos make you eye shadow almost stick, and they don't budge all day!

Another Maybelline products which you might never think of as being an eye base works wonders, if you give it a chance. It's the Maybelline Cover Stick in Vanilla, your probably thinking "Grace, that's a concealer!" but don't pretend that you haven't watched a makeup tutorial on youtube and they don't but concealer over their eyelids. I like to use this as an eye base because it is too light to be a concealer and it is super thick to put under my eyes. Because this is in a stick formula, it makes it super quick to apply and it blends very well. The shade Vanilla is a super light, yellow-toned shade so it helps to brighten the eyes too.

If you are a massive Primark fan like myself, you will know that they now have a cosmetic brand called Ps... Quit a while back, I bought a brow kit from Primark because I needed a new gel and tweezers. The kit I picked up also came with a Primark brow pencil and I tried it for the first time, and hated it. The pencil itself was too creamy and it just wouldn't look good on brows but I tried it on my eyes and now I love it. The formula is like the Maybelline Cover Stick but thinner, so I like to use this in the crease if I am doing a smokey eye, because it adds a lot of definition and blends amazingly. I know your probably thinking I am mad for using this on my eyes but it does work, and there is no rule saying you have to use a product for what it says. Right?

The final drugstore product I recommend for making your eye shadow last longer is the NYX Jumbo Eye pencils.  I bought mine in Germany but I know that FeelUnique and Boots now sell them on their websites. Honestly, if you are considering buying these, I really think that you should. Their formula is so unique and works wonders. The pencil applicator is so easy to use and the product itself is super cream, blendable and pigmented. Mine is in the shade Milk and I find it so brightening for the days when I lack in sleep.

The final product I have to share with you is a high end product. Obviously if you would rather use a drugstore alternative then that's completely up to you, but I think this shade is like no other. It is Mac's Painterly Paint Pot. My parents kindly got me this for Christmas and I have grown to love it. The formulation is super creamy and it lasts forever by itself or with shadow on top. Painterly itself is a salmon/ peach shade and I find it cancels veins on your eyes super well, whilst looking natural.

I hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know what your favorite eye base is. Have a great day!

Hot or Not Wednesday: Maybelline Baby Lips Balm and Blush

Hi everyone,
Today's post has actually been requested quit a lot after my random haul went up (link here), which this product was featured in. This Hot or Not is on the new Maybelline Balm and blush. I hope you enjoy!
Price:
Maybelline is a drugstore brand so this product was not expensive. It cost £5.99 but Maybelline do have offers so maybe wait until there is one so you can save a bit of money.

First impression:
I have only had this for a few days but I think it is a really lovely product to use for a very natural look. I think it would also be a great product for spring in summer as it is a cream product and is very glowy.

Packaging:
Personally, I like it, I think that it is super cute and colours are really pretty. I love how the colour on the top of the product shows the colour of the product so you don't get mixed up if you have lots of them. Some people might not like the packaging because it is small. Application might be hard as you can't get a perfectly good grip on the product.

How do you use it?
This is meant to be a two in one, a cream blush and a lip balm. You are just meant to apply straight onto the face and blend if need. It is suppose to be a very simple, on-the-go product.

What does it do?
If you were to use it as a lip balm, it gives a good tint to the lips but it also very moisturizing. As for the cream blush, it is very sheer but it adds a nice glow and a bit of colour to the cheeks.

Which are my favorites?
As you can see, I only have one shade out of the three they have released. In the shop they only had this shade in Flirty Pink which is actually the one I didn't want but I still bought it to try. I really want to try out the orange/peach shade though and they also have a red.

What are the negatives?
- Not very pigmented on the cheeks
- Shade doesn't flatter my skin tone
- Packaging is quit small

What are the positives?
- Creamy and silky
- Easy to use and apply
- Blendable
- Lasts a long time
- Great for on-the-go
- Lasts longer than a powder blush

Would I recommend it? And to who?
I would only recommend it to a beginner or someone who likes a very natural makeup look, only because it isn't very pigmented so it will be a great starting point for a beginner and it is a very natural product.

Hot or Not?
Both (can I say that?) I am honestly torn. I do like this product but I can't say I wasn't disappointed, because I was. I think the product is a really good concept and it is super quirky but I am not sure whether it is something I would use regularly. I think I will buy the peach shade and compare the two.

I hope you enjoyed this Hot or Not. Let me know in the comments what I should review next. Have a great day!

Random Haul

Hi everyone,
Since yesterday (Saturday) I went shopping and bought I few things, I thought I would do a haul. I haven't done a haul in a while so I hope you enjoy. This is a mixture of home were, beauty, stationary and food!

Before I even went shopping yesterday, my mum had bought me some new makeup wipes. I'm not sure were they are from, but I'm sure you can get them in most places. They are the Johnson's Face Care Makeup Wipes for sensitive skin, I have had these in the past and I do really like them. I don't use wipes to remove makeup but I use them for cleaning up swatches and spot cleaning my brushes. Thank you mum!

From Boots, I decided to buy some new makeup and skincare bits. At the Maybelline stand I noticed they had a new product which I had already seen on their instagram but not in store. It's the Maybelline Baby Lips, Balm and Blush, since this is new, I will be doing a hot or not on this on Wednesday, So keep your eyes peeled for that! This cost £4.99 and since it was buy one get one half price, I decided to get something else. After analyzing the stand for a good 10 minutes I decided to get the Maybelline Brow Drama in Dark Blonde, because I have heard mixed reviews about this and I wanted to test it myself. This also cost £4.99 but I got it half price.
The next two things from Boots are skincare bits, and I'm not usually one to go and buy new skincare, I usually just use what I have. Saying that, I really want to clear up my skin so I am starting to test and trial some products that will help me achieve that. Since I have the Simple day moisturizer, I thought I should try their night cream. Currently my night cream is E45 which I know isn't great and that's why I bought the Simple Night Cream. It was £3.49 which I thought was super good for 100ml. The next thing I bought was something I have heard a bit about but not a lot. It is the Witch Blemish Stick. Honestly, I don't expect this to clear my spots but I wan't it to help cure them faster. I have really bad ache so I am willing to try anything that will make it that little bit easier. This was £2.59 which is super cheap, but the product itself is only small so I'm not sure how long it will last.
Finally from Boots, I got a packet of Soothers. I know it's not the average thing you buy from Boots but they were only 49p. Honestly I love these, even when I don't have a sore throat.

Next I went into Next and I am not a fan of there clothes so instead I looked at their home were. I picked up two frosted tea light holders in pink and blue for £1.50 each. I'm not going to lie, I don't burn candles but I thought these would be good to store hair grips and bobbles in. They were super cheap so I couldn't say no and I love the way they look on my dressing table.

The final thing I bought, which may be too late is from Asda and it's a 2016 diary. I have wanted one of these for ages and finally bought one, it was only £4 and I love the colour and the quote on it. I will be using this to plan blog posts, appointments and holidays so I think it will really help me stay organised.

I hope you enjoyed this short, little haul. Have a great day!

Benefit Balms | Hot or Not Wednesday

Hi everyone,
Today's post is bringing it back to a series I started last year. It is Hot or not Wednesday! As it's a new year I think I am going to do a hot or not every other week, on Wednesday of coarse. So make sure you fill the comments with what I should review next. If you are unaware of a hot or not, it is basically a mini review on high street or high end makeup products. Today I will be reviews the Benefit lip balms, and I hope that you enjoy!
Price:
These individually retail for £14.50, which for a high end lip product, I find reasonable. I was lucky enough to receive these in a gift set which cost £19 for the two, so if you are willing to wait, maybe wait until the Christmas gift sets from Benefit come out. I was a bit disappointed in the amount you get in it but then again, you don't need a lot of product.

First impression:
Honestly, I wasn't expecting a lot from these as they are not that hyped up about. Now that I have tried them, I am not sure why they are not hyped up about. I found the first application of both of them very creamy and glossy. The pigmentation was more than what I expected and overall I was super impressed.

Packaging:
As all Benefit products, these are super lovely to look at. I love the metallic look to them and the colours are bright and girly. This is a very well made product so I know it will not break or smash.

How do you use it? And what does it do?
This acts as a lip balm and sort of a gloss as well. It gives a slight tint also and is said to give a longer lasting colour if you pair it with the same shade tint.

Which are my favourites?
My favorite at the moment is posie balm as it is the perfect colour for spring. Saying that, I think Bene Balm would be great for the autumn, so the shades are wearable but for different times of the year.

What are the negatives?
- Amount of products you receive
- Not the most long lasting

What are the positives?
- Super creamy
- Very moisturizing
- Good tint to the lips

Would I recommend it? And to who?
I would not recommend this for someone on a budget, but if you are into natural and fresh looking makeup, I think you would like them. If you do suffer with super dry lips and some lip products are not wearable because the cling to dry patches, this might be a good alternative if you still want a bit of colour

Hot or Not?
Hot! I love these products and they have been a daily essential for me since I received them.

I hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know what I should review next and whether this is something you would want to see regularly. Have a great day!

Highlights of 2015

Hi everyone,
For today's post I thought I would share with you my highlights of 2015. I hope you enjoy!
2015 for me was an important year, my blogging really took off, I started to decide my future more and I found my real friends. This is also in no particular order as that would be too hard.

1. Meeting Bars and Melody
Your probably thinking, "Grace who the hell are they?". Well if you watch Britain's Got Talent, they came third in 2014. My friends were obsessed with them and I sort of got on the bandwagon. Even thought they were just a phase, it's something off my bucket list. It was a super good day too as it was spent with some of my good friends and we had a great time.

2. London
If you started reading my blog back in February you would remember my London series. I had never been to London before this year and it was honestly amazing! I cannot wait to go back this year. My London series will be linked here (Travelling essentials, My Experience, Haul).

3. The Vamps Concert
I kindly got these tickets off my parents for Christmas 2014 and I was super excited to go. Sadly, my mum was unable to take me to the concert, which was the plan but she was ill, so instead one of my best friends came with me. We had a great laugh and it was a super fun night.

4. Olly Murs Concert
If  you know me, you know I Love Olly Murs! He is my favorite singer and this was the 5th time I had seen him in concert. He always makes each concert better and better. It's always me and my mum to go together as we always have, and this year, it was amazing.

5. Hitting 100 Bloglovin Followers
This was a super big deal for me as I didn't even expect 1 follower never mind 100. I don't know why people follow me but this is honestly one of the best highlights of the year. My blog has grown so much and I could not be more grateful!

6. Hitting 1000 Followers on Instagram
Again, another huge achievement. When I first started my instagram, it wasn't going anywhere. I was being someone I wasn't and I was just copying the wrong people. Somehow I managed to improve a lot and I hit 1000 followers, which to me is insane!

7. Radio City Concert
As you can probably tell, I was very lucky to go to all these concerts this year. I really enjoyed this concert as it had a mixture of lots of people. My favorites were Nick Jonas, Rixton and Year and Years. I also did a GRWM that night (linked here).

8. Blackpool Pleasure Beach
During the summer holidays, one of my best friends invited me to Blackpool with her grandparents. Since I had never been before I really wanted to go, so I did. It was a great day and I had an amazing time.

9. Penny's 14th Birthday
If you were reading my posts all the way back in September, you would remember this post. It was a great day with some of my closet friends and we had an absolute laugh. Post linked here.

10. Brothers 21st Birthday Meal
Most of you will probably know that my brother turned 21 this year and to celebrate we went for a meal. I had all my closest family there and it was just a lovely way to celebrate. I also did a GRWM so the link to that is here.

11. Dubai!
For my brothers birthday my parents paid for us to go to Dubai. It was honestly the best holiday I had ever been on and I really hope I go back one day. Dubai series is linked here:

12. Burj Khalifa
I know this should be included under Dubai but I feel like it deserves it's own little mention. In case you are unaware of the Burj Khalifa, it is basically the tallest building in the world. Yes! I did go up and it was the best thing I have ever done in my entire life (big statement I know!) It was absolutely beautiful and I could re-live that day again and again.

13. Halloween
Again, I have shared this with my readers in a post, linked here. Anyway, this year I had a really good Halloween, I spent it with some of my great friends and I was just a really fun day.

14. Germany
In case you didn't know, I went to Germany with my school in early December. We went to visit the Christmas markets and I honestly think it was one of the best paces I had ever been. Were we went was so beautiful and I really got close to some of my friends while being on this trip. You are probably sick of this, but I did also blog about this. The posts including Germany are linked below.

15. Christmas Day
I couldn't say my highlights of the year without mentioning Christmas day. I always look forward to Christmas day as I love spending the whole day with my family. Even thought this year Christmas day was quiet I still enjoyed. To find what I got for Christmas, it is linked is here.

I hope you enjoyed this little run down of my highlights for 2015. Make sure to comment what your favorite memory was of 2015. Have a great day!

New Years Q&A

Hi everyone,
A while ago I asked on instagram (@gracexkate) some New Year related questions and that's what I will be answering for you today. I hope you enjoy!

What are your New Years resolutions?
I actually have already wrote a whole post dedicated to this questions. It talks about my blogging, mental and physical goals. The link is here if you want to read it!

Is there anything you really want to do in 2016?
I want to make more memories and not waste time as I did a lot of that in 2015. Hopefully, I will take more pictures so I remember all the great things I did.

Was 2015 a year to remember?
Yes in certain areas. It was my brothers 21st birthday, I went to Dubai, my blog really took off and it was a good overall year for me.

If you could choose one day to go back to in 2015, what would it be and what would you do?
I think I would go back to Dubai as it was one of the best holidays ever and I wish we had spent longer there. I would probably go up the Burj Khalifa again and explore the Atlantis more.

Favorite things to do on New Years eve/day?
My family don't really make a big deal out of New Year like lots of families. We usually have a really relaxed two days and chill as my parents don't have to work.

Favorite piece of makeup you bought in 2015?
Probably the stuff I bought in Germany as that is not easily accessible in the UK. Germany Haul linked here.

If you could only keep one new years resolution for the year and achieve it, what would it be?
I don't really know, probably just to find myself more as I find it so important.

I hope you enjoyed this post, let me know what you are excited for this year. Have a great day!

Best Makeup Products of 2015

(I apologize for the awful pictures, the weather was not on my side)
Hi everyone,
As another year has gone past, today I thought I would share with you the best beauty products of 2015. 2015 for me has been a year of experimenting with all things beauty. I have spent a lot of 2015 trying, testing and just experimenting with makeup and beauty. I hope you enjoy this post!

Makeup:
During 2015, I discovered makeup in general. I have learnt so much and have found products that really enhance my skin. All of the products are drugstore because I have only been able to invest in high end very recently, so I couldn't include the products.

MUA Pro Base Primer  - I bought this at the very start and has lasted me ages. It was super cheap and I could honestly notice a different in staying power. I would highly recommend this and has definitely been a staple for me in 2015.
Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer - I discovered this in late spring in 2015 and has been a daily staple for me since. This has been one of them products I just can't manage without. I am on my second tube of this because I have used it so much. This has helped brighten my under eyes, which is what I needed and it helped me look wide awake, even if I wasn't.
Natural Collection Concealer - Again this is a products I couldn't live without. I am on my second tube of this also and it has been a huge staple for me. I have not seen a lot of people rave about this but I think it deserves more hype. It is so affordable and gives a natural finish. It is great for beginners and that's what I needed during 2015.
Collection Speedy Blush in Cheeky - As my skin doesn't suit pink blush all that much, I wanted to try a more coral toned blush. Since I only ever owned a powder blush, I never new what a cream blush was like, so this products seemed like the perfect one to try. Since trying this I have never used a powder blush. This is my ideal blush shade and formula.
Maybelline Colours Tattoos - Believe it or not, eye shadow was probably one of the first makeup products I ever started wearing. I am not to sure why but I since watching youtube I have always been intrigued to these products. After trying them I could believe the hype. I only own the neutral colours but they have been a big stand out for me this year. They last a long time and make a great quick and easy look.
MUA Eyeliner in Snow White - I have always preferred white eyeliner over black and this was my first white liner. As you can see by the picture it is almost all gone. This has been part of my daily makeup routine since the beginning of 2015. Only recently I have discovered others, but I was happy sticking to this product without having to try anything else.
Brow Gel - I have never been one to fill in my eyebrows as I like the way mine look without it. Saying that, sometimes they fall out of place and look  bit of a mess so to tame that I bought a brow gel. This has made a huge impact on my makeup as I feel like it completes each look.
Collection Divine Lash - I do know that this has been a very recent release but I did have to give it a little mention. This is the perfect dupe for Benefits They're Real Mascara. The wands are very similar but I do find Divine lash is a lot more natural. I bought this mascara because I wanted something very natural for school that just held the curl of my eyelashes all day. This did exactly that.
Revlon Lash Potion - I tried this a while back and I have always been a huge fan of it. It does a great job at lengthening and thickening lashes. I have also found it's helped grow my lashes naturally, which is something not every mascara can offer.
Tanya Burr Lip gloss in Sparkling Dewdrops - This was my second Tanya Burr gloss but my first one was just peachy which I didn't like. This shade was a lot more my colour and was a huge staple for me through summer and spring. Obviously with the changing seasons I started using this less, but it was a product I always came back to.
MUA LUXE Lip Lacquer in Tranquility - This was sent to me in September, so again a recent purchase, but I have had so much wear out of it. This is the most long lasting lip product I own. It is super matte without being drying and it is a beautiful colour.
MUA Intense Lip Liners - I discovered these when I was in a show and I needed a red lip shade. With it only being for a few performances I didn't want to spend loads, so I chose a lip liner from MUA. Turns out, they are super easy to apply and last a long time paired with a lip gloss.
The Body Shop Honeymania Lip Balm - I got this in their advent calendar in 2014 and I was never a huge fan of their born lippys or their lip butters and I jut thought that this was going to be the same. After hiding it at the back of my draw for a while, I pulled it back out and haven't stopped using it since. The consistency is a lot thicker and nourishing than the other formulas.
EOS Lip Balms - On a regular basis I use The Body Shop lip balm of a night and an EOS during the day. These are super cute and really moisturizing. There is no scent or flavor in particular that has stud out this year, but I love the formula very much.

Makeup Brushes:
Real Techniques Face Brushes - I discovered Real Techniques in the summer of 2015 and honestly, I don't know what I would do without them. Their face brushes have been a huge help to my application of my makeup. Favorite brushes are expert face brush, buffing brush and contour brush. They are all super soft and are super easy to clean.
Primark Eye Brushes - I have always loved Primark for clothes, shoe, accessories and now beauty. The double ended concealer and eye shadow brush has been a huge standout. I like to use this for cream and powder shadows or below the lash line.
Primark Eyelash Curlers - If I had to say one product that has been my favorite during 2015, it is this (big statement, I know). This is honestly outstanding and I can't rave about it enough. It curls my lashes like no other and they hold with the help of some waterproof mascara.

Nails:
Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paints - You are all probably sick and tired of me talking about these but they just had to be mentioned. I am not going to go on for too long but some stand-out shades were lychee (on featured in image), Grapefruit, Prickly Pear and Papaya.
Barry M Speedy Quick Dry Nail Paints - Barry M released these during spring in 2015 and I had to try they. They were super opaque and fast-drying. I love Barry M Nail Polishes and these just added to my collection.
Barry M Top and Base Coat - As you can see by the obvious pattern, I do love Barry M nail polishes. During the start of the year, I realized I needed something to make my polishes last longer on my nails, so I bought this. I have never used anything else and I have noticed a massive difference.
At the beginning of 2015, I did a Barry M review if you want to read for more detail, link here.

I'm sorry this post was super long but I still hope you enjoyed. Let me know some of your favorite products of 2015 in the comments. Have a great day!

Hopes for 2016!

Hi everyone,
The time has come to start a fresh new year, and I couldn't be more excited. Every year I make a little list of new years resolutions, they are usually lost by the end of the year but I will not loose them this year. This is because I am writing them on here. 2016 for me is going to be all about improvement. I have achieved a lot in 2015 but I want to improve. That's why today I am sharing with you different goals I have for the new year. Maybe this will give you inspiration for your new year resolutions, if you write them.

Blogging Goals:
- Get to 200 Bloglovin Followers
During 2015 I managed to get 100+ followers which is just mad, and this year to improve I am aiming for 200. I don't know whether it is possible but I want to try.
- Better Blog content and photos
Personally, I think I have improved a lot on my blog from last year, when it first began, but I want to take it to a whole new level. I really want to put a lot of time and effort into my posts with great quality photos.
- Produce a wider variety of content
At the moment, my blog is mainly based around beauty and as much as I love beauty, I want to make my blog a variety of themes. There is going to be some beauty, fashion, life, fitness, advice and just a general random theme.
- Post more often
I use to post once maybe twice a week but I think 2016 I am going to post as often as I can, when I want. During this year, some of my posts haven't been to a good standard because they have been forced. That's not what I want to happen this year, so I am going to post when I want to and hopefully that will be often.
- Discover more bloggers
I think I have been pretty good with this year but I want to discover more. I think it would be super nice if I could help promote other bloggers that deserve more recognition.
- Continue to be active on blogs
I love commenting on other peoples blogs and I would love to maintain that as I love encouraging others. I think commenting on peoples blogs can make a huge difference to their confidence.

Physical Goals:
- Loose a bit more weight

I know I am going to get a lot of hate for saying this but I absolutely hate my body. I am not super overweight but I am overweight so I would like to loose weight. Since I am a dancer, I am expected to be healthy and slim and that's what I want. I am not going to loose weight to the point were I am stick thin but I want to loose weight so I get a bit of fat of my stomach and thighs. I am not doing this for anyone else, I want to do this for me. That's why I am going to do a lot more health and fitness things on my blog as well.
- Workout more
This will help me to loose weight but think it deserves it's own section. As I said before, I am a dancer and I need to build up my stamina. When I do workout I really enjoy it so I am planning to do an outdoor workout once or twice a week and an indoor workout three times a week.
- Improve my skin
I have super spot prone skin and it needs improving. I have bought a few new skin care bits to help and it just needs a general re-boot.
- Drink more water
I think almost everyone says this as a new years resolution. This goes hand in hand with improving my skin, but I think because of school, I just forget to drink water.

Mental Goals:
- Make scrap books of events
I love looking back at old memories but I don't have a lot of them. As I am doing a lot of exciting things next year I want to be able to record them all in a scrap book. Let me know whether you would like to see a DIY on it or not and that should encourage me.
- Be more positive
I have not been my best this year and it's not good. I want to become a super positive and open person. A lot of people have told be this year that I only think negative and I was really sad about that.
- Love myself
This may sound weird but I really don't like myself. I don't like the way I look or the way I act. During this year I have found it super hard to be myself, with so many people judging me, pressuring me and just being super forceful. I want to be able to stand up for myself, be myself and for people to except that.
- Find myself
I know I am only thirteen but I want to find myself a little more. Try new things to see what I like and don't like and do more things I enjoy. I want to find m style, my look and my future. I am taking my options this year and I would like to know what I want to be when I am older. Not necessarily an exact job but a subject I want to peruse.

I hope you enjoyed this post, so sorry it was a bit long and chatty but I hope this has helped you in some way. Have a great day!
