Day 19: Glam Party Makeup Look!

I mean I can't help it, I just love writing makeup tutorials. I know I have already done one (will link it in case you haven't read it) but I have so many different looks I want to do and different products I want to share with you. This one is a little more glam
and quite heavy, but I feel like you could just miss out a few steps to make it more day time.

When I was doing this makeup I actually started with my brows because I like to be able to carve them out and then use that same concealer to prime my eyes. It's a bit weird but try it because I find that it works really well. Anyway for a more heavy makeup look I like to use my Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade in the shade Taupe just to fill in my brows, going lighter at the front and more harsh near the end. I will just set it with some brow gel and that's it.

I will prime my eyes with the Rimmel Lasting Finish Concealer in Porcelain to prime but I will also carve out my brows in this concealer because it is super easy to apply and blend. I find that if I use a flat eye shadow brush, I can get really precise and this will just make my eye brows look extra sharp.
For eye shadow I am actually using a new love of mine, the Morphe 35O and don't worry there will be a review going up very soon so keep an eye out. I will just use the matte white shade to set the primer, take a few of the matte warm shades in the crease, getting darker each time and then apply a champagne shade to my lids. I will also highlight my brow bone with a satin white shade just to accentuate them a little more.
Then with some black kohl eye liner I will line my upper lash line an smudge it out a little bit, this pencil is the GSpot cosmetics Eye Line in Stroke  and it was nice to use but I found that it would smudge a lot so another great one is the Seventeen one which you have seen me mention in a few of my previous tutorials.
Finally for eyes I will just apply some mascara, this is the Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious in waterproof black and this mascara makes my eye lashes super long and thick, sometimes clumpy but I will fix it.
Just before starting the face, I will just sharpen up the edge with a makeup wipe, and I will also come back to them to do the lower lash line.

For face, I will prime with the Barry M Colour Correcting Primer in Green just to help mattify and cancel out and redness on my face. Since this was more glam I wanted something that was going to last a long time so I changed the glowy primer for a more matte and tacky one.
Changing up the foundation a little with the L'Oreal Infallible Foundation which is a nice foundation I just wish it had a better colour range, so I did mix in a bit of my true match just so it would match me. I will apply a fair amount of that to my face and just buff it all in.
For concealer I use the trusty Collection Lasting Perfection in Fair, just for the places where I would highlight and I will blend that in with a sponge just so it is not too thick and it gives a nice air brushed finish.
Trying something different for once, I am baking with the LA Girl Pro Powder in Translucent and just packing that on with a sponge. I actually loved the way this turned out because my under eyes stayed put all day and they looked so bright and flawless, so I am really happy with this.
While I am letting that powder bake, I will begin to cream contour with the LA Girl Pro Conceal in Toast just to help sculpt my features a little but more. I love this concealer and as a cream contour it works so well. It blends like a dream and it is actually a good colour for me.
Again another cream product, but one I haven't used in a while, the Maybelline Dream Touch Blush in Pink Frosting. This is a beautiful shade, quite autumnal and dewy looking. I love applying a light layer of this with a duo fibre brush and it just gives my cheeks a perfect pop of colour.
At this point the bake would have probably set so I will just use that same powder to set my whole face and wipe off the bake also.

Back to the lower lash line, I will take that same Morphe palette and just run a few of those matte, warm shades across the lower lash taking them down a little further then usual just to make them more dramatic.
I will then just apply that same mascara to my bottom lashes also and quite heavily to make my eyes pop a little more.

For bronzer I used the one from the Barry M Get Up and Glow Face Palette just all over the places where I would usually apply it. It is a shimmery bronzer so it did give my skin a nice glow to it.
I actually changed up my highlighter a little and mixed the two from the Sephora Wishes Come True Palette. This palette is actually amazing, it is so underrated but amazing and the highlighters are so beautiful and pigmented, definitely worth a look at.

Finally for lips, I am lining and filling them in with the Body Shop Lip Liner in the shade Pink Clover. It is a beautiful nude shade and I am actually filling my whole lips in with this.
On the centre of my lips, just to make them pop a little more, I am going in with the L'Oreal Dazzle Lip Gloss in the shade Sparkle Shower. This lip combo looked so beautiful and I think it really completed the look.
